Both Roy and Oscar didn’t want to relent, but they couldn’t stand up against Elijah’s threats. After all, Connor was here on official business, and they had every obligation to cater to his requests. They were just putting on a show anyway. Even Connor had his reasons. He purposely invited a female colleague with a strong alcohol tolerance to accompany favonovel.com that night.
During the first half of the dinner, Roy and Oscar barely touched their food or drink. It was quite an awkward situation.
