Lupinus frowned and said, “No, it’s not a poisonous gas. It’s damp branches. They’re using it to produce smoke. The fire is only going to get bigger now!”
Clouds of gray smoke blew into the cave. Lupinus and the others felt their eyes stinging so much they couldn’t open them anymore. However, there was still no peep from Isaac and the other three.
Suddenly, Lucas said, “Throw out the carcass! Let’s fight them all!”
“Fight them all!” Harry yelled, rushing forward as his blood started to boil.
Just as the three of them were about to rush out, they suddenly felt an extremely powerful blast of spiritual energy from behind them. It was quickly followed by another, and another, and another.
All four blasts of spiritual energy appeared one after another within 20 seconds. The first gust of energy was the quickest and most powerful of all. Lupinus and Lucas felt themselves shuddering as they turned to look behind them.
Isaac emerged first, walking toward them in the smoke.
“Drakon, they’re trying to kill us with the smoke!” Lucas then started coughing loudly.
“Step aside…” Isaac said softly.
Lucas, Lupinus, and Harry all stepped back immediately. They saw that Lightning and the other two generals were also on their way out.
Isaac went up to the anaconda carcass, which was barbecued almost to perfection by now, and lifted his right hand in the air. His hand was immediately enclosed in a ball of bright red spiritual energy that kept increasing in size until it was about three feet in diameter. The ball then took shape as a closed fist.
“Ten Ton Fist!” With a loud roar, the red fist was flung out ahead of him. It created a gale inside the cave as it rushed toward the anaconda carcass at full power.
Crash! Boom!
The 600-pound anaconda, which was still ablaze with fire, was sent flying out of the cave like a soccer ball.
Lucas and the others were shocked upon witnessing this.
Had Drakon reached the final stage of the Divinity Phase?
“So this is the power of the final stage of the Divinity Phase…” Isaac said, murmuring to himself.
Outside the cave, three or four Black Ninjas were still piling more and more damp branches into the fire when suddenly, a flaming dark silhouette sent them all flying backward onto the ground.
Thud!
The burning anaconda carcass landed in the swamp.
As soon as the flames hit the swamp, they immediately set the entire place on fire. After all, the gasses released by peat bogs in the swamp were highly flammable. In no time, the whole area was surrounded by a wall of flames at least ten feet tall.
The Violet Ninja at the other end was shocked. His jaw nearly dropped to the ground, along with all the other ninjas standing nearby. Then, favonovel.com caught sight of Isaac and six other people walking out of the fiery cave.
Isaac then pointed at the few rafts ahead and said faintly, “Leave no man alive!”
Lightning and Mitchell both jumped onto a raft and slammed their spiritual fists into the water behind them, thus shooting them forward through the wall of flames.
After making it through the fire, Lightning and Mitchell both leaped up into the air 20 feet across the marshlands and hurled their fists at the officers and ninjas ahead of them.
They both were now in the early stage of the Divinity Phase, and their increase in power was apparent. They were no longer afraid of these people.
Meanwhile, Lucas and the others also jumped onto another raft and did the same as Lightning and Mitchell, escaping the ring of fire.
The last to go was Isaac. He activated his spiritual energy and bolted out of the swamp like lightning using Phantom Steps. He then ran straight at the Violet Ninja.
