The rope that the Black Ninjas brought in for Harry still remained there.
The ninjas circled around the area but realized that neither Harry nor Lucas was coming back out. They even thought they’d fallen into the swamp but quickly changed their minds after seeing the rope.
The two Black Ninjas hurriedly gathered a few more of their people and followed the rope to the cave entrance. One of them caught sight of the huge green anaconda carcass inside, but there was no sign of Harry or Lucas anywhere. They thought something was off.
Just then, a few officers rushed up from the back, claiming they’d just found the bodies of three of their colleagues in the grassy field toward the north of the area. Thus, they were even more convinced that Harry and Lucas were enemies in disguise.
Less than ten minutes later, at least 50 ninjas and ten armed officers stood outside with their guns trained at the cave entrance.
A man wearing a Violet Ninja uniform came up from the back and asked with a frown, “What’s wrong with the cave?”
“Sir, the two men who entered the cave just now have not yet returned, and we found the bodies of a few officers north of here. We suspect that the enemies have infiltrated our camp, and they are pretending to be one of us,” a Blue Ninja hurriedly told the Violet Ninja.
There was an icy look in the Violet Ninja’s eyes. He immediately shouted, “Bring those gasoline cans over! I don’t care who or what is inside this cave; we will just find out once they’re all charred to bits!”

Behind the anaconda carcass inside the cave, Lupinus and the others heard everything the Violet Ninja was saying. He gritted his teeth.
Isaac and the other three were still in the midst of their breakthrough. Things would get messy if the ninjas insisted on lighting them all up on fire.
“Lucas, what should we do? Should we go out and try to stall them?”
“Let’s wait a while longer,” Lucas said as favonovel.com frowned.
It wasn’t a good idea to go out, but favonovel.com just couldn’t think of anything else right now.
There were more and more flashlight beams coming from the cave entrance. They could also hear some noise in the background.
Suddenly, Lucas looked anxiously at Lupinus and said, “We can’t wait any longer! We have to block the entrance with this anaconda carcass. We can‘t let them flood the cave with gasoline!”
The two of them immediately activated their spiritual energy and stepped forward, moving the anaconda that weighed a few hundred pounds to the entrance of the cave.
The ninjas outside had brought along their rafts. The dozens of officers brought in canisters of gasoline, one after another, delivering them straight to the cave.
A few Black Ninjas suddenly realized that the anaconda carcass was being shifted around quickly. Their faces turned solemn as they shouted at the Violet Ninja outside, “Sir, they’ve barricaded the entrance with the anaconda! There are people inside!”
Hearing this, the Violet Ninja roared back at them, “Hurry! Burn them all to a crisp!”
The rafts reached the entrance of the cave. A Black Ninja received the first canister and started pouring it into the entrance, followed by another, and another, and another.
However, the anaconda carcass managed to prevent the gasoline from being poured directly into the cave, even if it was just a few feet away from the entrance. Most of it accumulated outside the cave.
“Keep pouring!” the Violet Ninja yelled.
Lupinus and the others could smell the strong, overwhelming stench of the gasoline from behind the carcass. In fact, the smell was so strong that it overpowered the smell of the rotting carcass. Gradually, gasoline began seeping slowly through the bumps and slits of the carcass.
A total of 20 or 30 gasoline canisters had been emptied into the cave. Then, there was a loud roar, “Set it on fire!”
Bang!
There was a gunshot sound. The bullet hit the ground right in front of the cave and ignited a tiny spark. All at once, the cave entrance was consumed in flames.
Most of the fire was blocked out by the anaconda carcass as they started to blaze. Some burning flecks floated into the cave, and Lupinus hurriedly directed his spiritual energy at them. They all extinguished almost immediately.
Seeing this, Lucas also did the same as Lupinus, extinguishing the bits of fire that were trying to make their way inside.
Suddenly, a thick cloud of smoke fanned into the cave.
“Poisonous gas?” Harry squealed, covering his nose and mouth with his hands at once.
