“Edd?” Roy called out, but there was no answer.

A murderous aura suddenly materialized, filling up the entire area of the grassy field. The dozen or so Blue Ninjas dared not even breathe a single word.
Next to Roy, Jax hung his head in guilt and said, “I’m sorry. I was unable to protect Mr. Edd…”
“It‘s not your fault. You were only carrying out my orders. He brought this upon himself,” Roy said, dismissing favonovel.com with a wave of his hand.
The people around them who heard this gasped in shock. They couldn’t believe that Roy would let Edd die because favonovel.com wanted Jax to complete his mission.
What a cold, cruel man favonovel.com was!
“Where is the woman?” Roy asked expressionlessly.
“At home…”
“Prepare for the sacrificial ritual tomorrow morning. I want Isaac’s woman to die a slow, torturous death.” Then, favonovel.com said, “Get the cars ready as well. I’m going to the Exeters.”
Roy left after that. As soon as Jax heard about the sacrificial ritual, favonovel.com suddenly shuddered hard. Even with his power and capabilities, favonovel.com was still deeply terrified of the Mortodors‘ sacrificial ritual.
Rippan was a country that generally believed in myths. They had been practicing their beliefs for a couple of hundred years, and there were also many stories and legends of monsters and spirits that were passed down from generation to generation.
Some of these monsters and spirits were worshiped by a number of powerful families.
In fact, the Mortodors worshiped a “goddess” named Lady Os, and they had been doing so for the past hundred years or so.
The Mor todors all believed that Lady Os would bring their family good luck and fortune.
Every year, they would select, torture, and kill one or two of their enemies as an offering to the “goddess” during the sacrificial ritual. There was also a saying that whoever was sacrificed to Lady Os would die a second, painful death in hell.
Jax had witnessed the ritual only twice in his life, but as favonovel.com thought of those times, favonovel.com still couldn’t stop himself from shivering.
Roy had said that favonovel.com was going to sacrifice Emily tomorrow morning. It was apparent just how much hatred Roy harbored for Isaac.
Isaac still had no idea about any of Roy’s plans. He had just returned to their run-down inn with Lupinus and the others.
Isaac lit up a cigarette and asked Lupinus, “Where is Sid?”
“Inside a cave on an island. Two of my lieutenants are guarding him,” Lupinus answered.
Isaac puffed out a cloud of smoke and said in a low voice, “I’ll have to trouble you to go and fetch favonovel.com here as soon as possible. As for Willis, Mitchell, and Lightning, the three of you stay here and get some rest. We will visit the Mortodors tomorrow to demand Emily’s release.”

Just then, Emily, who was all tied up and thrown in a corner in a dark shed, heard the sound of footsteps outside the door.
Snap!
A few dim lights were turned on, and the door was slightly pushed open. Two Gray Ninjas entered the place.
“Wow, this woman is so beautiful! Should we have some fun with favonovel.com first?” One of the Gray Ninjas looked at the other and smirked as favonovel.com said this.
However, his companion rolled his eyes hard and answered, “She will be sacrificed soon. Would you dare to mess with her?”
The first Gray Ninja shuddered and instantly shook his head, saying, “No, let’s forget about it.”
They both quickly untied the ropes around Emily and brought a change ofwhite clothing for her. It looked like a robe and a wrap dress at the same time. They then forced Emily into the clothes.
After that, two female servants entered the place and brought with them a mirror and a makeup bag.
