Isaac narrowed his eyes and focused the spiritual energy in his right hand. He then lifted his hand, where the crimson spiritual energy flung the three daggers to the ground at once.
“He’s too powerful. Retreat!” one of the ninjas exclaimed.
They lifted their fallen ally from the ground and flung a few more daggers at Isaac. One of them grabbed a pearl between his fingers and threw it onto the ground before Isaac.

There was a loud bang as the smokescreen pearl hit the ground.
A cloud of white smoke that smelled terribly like gunpowder immediately surrounded Isaac. By the time Isaac made his way through the thick smoke, the three ninjas had fled.
A glint of iciness appeared in Isaac’s eyes. He immediately called Black Phoenix. He was sure they were nimj as who’d just been sent to kill him. They had to be connected to Wes or the Mortodor family.
Isaac put on a change of clothing and waited for his phone to ring again.
When it did a few minutes later, it was Black Phoenix calling. “Drakon, the three ninjas have left the hotel, but two of them are still in the room above yours.”
“You mean upstairs? Whose room? Wes Mortodor’s?” Isaac asked at once.
A few seconds later, Black Phoenix spoke again. “It’s Sheldon Mortodor’s room.”
Isaac then put down his phone and went outside to have a look. He hadn’t known then that Emily had been abducted. He was only curious about the ninjas guarding Sheldon’s room.
