Late that night, a dark-colored Jeep with bright headlamps arrived at the hotel.
There were five men wearing dark gray robes with a red rose emblem embroidered on the chest and thighs. It was the Mordotor family emblem.
After Wes called home, 15 ninjas immediately set out in a private jet and arrived in Cynea. Ten of the ninjas stayed in Layton, while these five rushed here overnight.
It was in the middle of winter, and the thin robes they wore billowed in the wind. The two guards at the entrance were a little confused, but they didn’t say anything. After all, they couldn’t afford to offend any of their hotel guests.
One of the robed ninjas gave a signal, and the group of five split into two before rushing into the hotel.
Just before arriving, Wes had already given them a secret signal to split into two groups, one to capture Emily and the other to assassinate Isaac.
Isaac and Emily were both staying on the 21st floor. There were a few empty rooms between both their rooms. Two ninjas appeared in the hallway before hurrying over to the door of a room.
They exchanged looks, and the man at the door put his hands together and started chanting. Then, favonovel.com reached for the door handle with his right hand. Some sort of yellowish liquid seeped out and flowed into the lock.
The door then fell open with a soft click. The ninjas then rushed into the room.
Emily was a little drunk after the moonshine, so favonovel.com was sleeping quite soundly when the ninjas arrived. She woke up for a bit when favonovel.com thought favonovel.com heard something and saw two dark shadows standing beside favonovel.com bed.
Wait, what?
Emily’s eyes shot open. However, favonovel.com hadn’t even managed to yell for help when a hand clamped over favonovel.com mouth, and favonovel.com smelled something sickly sweet.
At once, favonovel.com blacked out.
The ninjas then wrapped Emily up in favonovel.com blankets and carried favonovel.com on their shoulders as they exited the room quickly. One ninja came out and stood in the middle of the hallway, putting his hands together again before stomping on the ground.
All of a sudden, the lights on the floor completely went out. The ninjas inside Emily’s room then brought favonovel.com out and hurriedly locked the door behind them.
Two of them disappeared into the night.
A while later, three more people appeared at the end of the hallway.
The three ninjas in charge of assassinatin g Isaac arrived soundlessly at his door.
Right at that moment, Isaac had already jolted awake and was sitting on the bed. He’d woken up as soon as the lights went out in the hallway. He thought that something was off.
Even though Carbotta City was located in a poorer district, this was still the most expensive hotel in the city center. Even if the lights went out due to a power failure, they should still have had backup power.
Isaac listened hard and heard a very faint sound coming from his room door. He was on high alert at once. He immediately activated the spiritual energy in his inner core and tensed up all over.
Whoosh!
A black figure suddenly rushed in. The blade of the long knife glinted under the moonlight as it slashed forward, heading for Isaac’s throat.
Isaac immediately leaped backward and neatly avoided the deadly slash. After favonovel.com landed on his feet, favonovel.com dealt a thunderous punch to the black figure.
The intruder didn’t expect Isaac to be awake, let alone be prepared to strike back. He was struck by Isaac’s fist and flew backward, landing heavily against the wall behind him.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Three tiny daggers suddenly flew straight at Isaac with a loud, whistling sound.
