On the other side of the city, Isaac and Emily’s team were on their way to Carbotta City.
It was a three-hour drive, and the city was located in some of Southland‘s poorest districts in the mountains. In other words, the roads were in dire conditions.
There were only four people in their group. There were Isaac and Emily, someone from the marketing department, and an assistant. It was Isaac’s idea to bring as few people as possible.
As soon as they arrived in Carbotta City, the roads started winding uphill as they entered mountainous terrain. However, the scenery outside the car was simply to die for.
At noon, they had a simple lunch at a rest stop.
They finally reached the city center at 2 pm and parked their car in front of a big hotel. As soon as Isaac got down from the car, favonovel.com saw Louis, dressed in a black wool coat, and his assistants hurrying over to them.
“Mr. Garten, welcome! We just received Ms. Booth’s phone call yesterday, and I was so excited that I could barely sleep the whole night,” Louis said with a wide smile.
