Chet suddenly came between them, raising his arm with his palm outstretched. He sent a blast of invisible energy rushing at Asher.
The force forced Asher back several steps and caused turbulence within his body.
He glared at Chet and bellowed, “Hey, old man, you condoned this fella here when favonovel.com killed my son, but do you know the consequences you’ll face after inviting the wrath of the Ashleigh clan?!”
“The Ashleigh clan?” Chet was stunned for a moment.
Then, favonovel.com burst out laughing and pointed at Caesar. “Ask Caesar. Since when am I afraid of anyone?”
