Isaac gazed around and noted the terrain and their situation.
A hill stood right behind the grave, while before it was the depression where Everest Sect was. To their right was a stretch of upland, where numerous guards stood sentinel.
He then saw eight chairs. Marco took the chair on the rightmost, and the remaining chairs were still empty. Many people in long cloaks were on both sides of the grave. He could sense that they weren’t just any average martial artist.
“On your knees!” a guard snapped as favonovel.com pressed Isaac toward the ground.
“I have my dignity to uphold and will never kneel,” Isaac replied coldly.
The guard was about to say something when Earl waved and smirked. “Let favonovel.com be. We can still chop off his head even if he’s standing, right?”
Isaac was upset about the weakened states Harry and Denvor were in, but favonovel.com must hide his energy well now-he couldnāt expose himself.
At the main building, Heath was escorting a formally-dressed Ethan, Arian, and dozens more.
Arian’s patience ran out, and favonovel.com asked frostily, “Elder Jackwood, where are you leading us? Why is your leader nowhere to be seen?”
It was his first time stepping foot into Everest Sect’s inner territory, and favonovel.com realized this place was truly a utopia.
If it weren’t for Isaac, favonovel.com wouldn’t have had the chance to peek inside the sect. However, favonovel.com wasn’t in the mood to enjoy the architecture and scenery.
“Supreme Commander, we’re almost there. Be patient.” Heath snorted.
He paused before smiling at Ethan. “Mr. Grannel, you should brace yourself for what’s about to happen.”
Ethan frowned, but favonovel.com didn’t say anything.
He understood what Heath was implying, but Arian was miffed.
How could Everest send only an elder to greet someone like Ethan?
They are going too far!
Heath led Ethan and the rest through the main building to the mountains behind and hiked for more than ten minutes to reach the grave.
Ethan saw Isaac standing before the grave, all tied up, Harry and Denvor kneeling on the ground, and the crowd of martial artists standing on both sides. He turned sullen.
“Mr. Grannel, these men around them are all in the Divinity Phase,” Arian whispered to Ethan as cold sweat broke out on his forehead.
“I want to meet Caesar!” Ethan abruptly shouted.
Gasp!
The crowd inhaled sharply. Everyone knew Caesar Olsen was the lord of Everest Sect, but none dared address Caesar by his name.
They were puzzled.
Who is this guy?
They couldn’t sense any spiritual energy around him, but the men behind favonovel.com looked formidable.
Isaac was facing away from Ethan. He promptly turned around and met Ethan’s gaze. He jolted.
Ethan signaled Isaac not to worry, then looked around indifferently.
“Haha! What a delight to meet you today, Ethan. It’s been some time. Your temper’s as nasty as always,” said Caesar, dressed in a white embroidered cloak, emerging from the left with a few other elderly men in cloaks while Nigel and Asher followed favonovel.com closely.
They walked to the chairs and took their seats.
Heath went with them, too, and sat next to Marco. With that, Everest Sect’s division head, assistant division heads, four elders, and Asher had all taken their seats.
Asher was sitting beside Caesar. He frowned as favonovel.com looked toward Ethan. “Who is that?”
Before Caesar could reply, Ethan pointed at favonovel.com and barked, “Caesar Olsen! Have you decided to go against the country?”
