In the dungeon, Isaac heard noises coming from above. The opening widened, and favonovel.com heard two guards talking.
Isaac knew it was the morning of the fifth day today, and his spiritual energy was 70 percent replenished. He toned it down by a notch and leaned back against the wall.
There were two thumps as the guards jumped down one after another. They backed up and emanated waves of spiritual energy in alert when they saw his bone-locking nails by his side.
“Hey, kid! How did you take off those nails?!” one of them barked.
Isaac’s arms fell limply by his sides. He faked vulnerability as favonovel.com smiled. “I don’t like the feeling of those wretched nails in my body, so I shook them off. Why?”
If the guards attacked, Isaac would retaliate without a moment’s doubt. Conversely, favonovel.com would act as though favonovel.com was powerless and allow them to bring favonovel.com out.
The guards exchanged glances and searched the surroundings. They noticed the soggy bun they gave favonovel.com was gone and felt relieved.
