The two guards hesitated briefly before undoing the locks on the door.
Everyone in the Everest Sect knew that Earl was about to be added to the Book of Everest and would become at least an Elder in the future. These guards were at the bottom of the food chain, they didn‘t dare to anger the top student with a bright future.
The door opened, revealing a pale Evie sitting by the desk.

Hearing Isaac’s name, Earl frowned, but it was quickly replaced with a smile. “Evie, have you heard that I’m about to be entered into the Book of Everest? Do you know what that means? Your husband will become at least an Elder in the Everest Sect. I can let you have all the finer things in life, so why aren’t you happy?”
“Answer me!” Evie’s eyes turned colder, but that piece of information had indeed shocked her.
She hadn’t been in the Everest Sect for long, but favonovel.com knew what it meant to be included in the Book of Everest.
This top student might become even more arrogant.
Seeing Evie’s face, Earl’s laughter only rose in volume.

After walking out the door, Earl glanced at Trace and shouted, “Come, follow me to the dungeon to see that pest. I wonder if he’s dead yet.”
He wasn’t in the best mood. Even though things had come to this, Evie had yet to give up. Well, then favonovel.com could only allow favonovel.com to witness Isaac’s execution.
“Sir, Elder Giverny has instructed you not to go to the dungeon. A very dangerous person is being kept there,” Trace said seriously.
Earl was taken aback. He regarded Trace coldly and said, “I’ve never seen someone banished to the dungeon pose a threat before. Are you coming or not? Show me the way!”
Trace had no choice but to nod and agree.

On the other hand, a few vans were driving madly toward the depths of the forests along the winding roads a few kilometers from the Everest Sect.
In one of the shaking vans, Harry and Denvor had changed into gray worker uniforms. The undercover mission had begun.
Over the past two days, the House of Custos’ Intelligence Unit had found out that the Everest Sect had a longstanding collaboration with a food manufacturing company. With such a sizable sect, this company regularly provided all of their food and beverages.
After the vans arrived at the base of the mountain, the Everest Sect’s people would come down the mountain to move the goods. Harry and Denvor could take the opportunity to blend in and slip into the Everest Sect
“Harry, a-are you nervous? I am!” Denvor looked toward the driver’s seat anxiously.
