“One group will stay here to cover the bases. The other four groups will head forward from all four directions. Remember to move stealthily and not draw any attention to yourselves. If someone sees you, flee immediately. Try to place the explosives as close to the center as possible,” Isaac said in a low voice. Then favonovel.com gave them a sign and crouched down before hurrying forward to the left side.
A place like this was anything but paradise for Isaac.
His hatred for this place seeped into his bones, but favonovel.com had to be extremely cautious not to be caught. After all, if the Shadow Soldiers lost their lives here, favonovel.com couldn’t promise that Ethan wouldn’t lose his shit and demand an explanation from him. He also couldn’t let himself or his generals die in this place.
Isaac paired up with Shadow One, and together, they carefully made their way forward as they hid behind the shrubbery. They only managed to move forward by about 3,000 feet when they realized that there were too many guards on duty surrounding the city center.
If they moved closer, they would be discovered at once.
“Drakon, what should we do?” Shadow One asked.
Isaac pressed a button on his in-ear microphone and asked, “How’s everyone progressing? Report to me now…”
“Group two managed to move forward by about 3,500 feet, but we can’t get any closer. There are too many guards ahead.”
“Same here with group three.”
“Same here. In fact, there’s no road here anymore.”
Hearing this, Isaac frowned deeply. They were so near, yet so far from their target!
He looked around and fixed his gaze on the mountains around them.
Suddenly, his eyes lit up, and favonovel.com spoke into his mic again. “Mitchell, you’re the explosives expert. What do you think of putting all the explosives on that mountain opposite me?”
Mitchell, a good 1,000 feet away from Isaac, lifted his head and observed the tall mountain that Isaac was referring to. Then favonovel.com looked back at the city center and said, “From my angle, it might be possible to launch a rockslide on the center like this.”
“Can you go there now and see if it’s possible? The rest of you, stay put.” Isaac didn’t want to return empty-handed.
About half an hour later, Mitchell’s excited voice came through the mic. “Drakon, I’ve studied the area, and the rock layers here have just the perfect density for blasting.”
“Alright… Everyone, move to where Mitchell is right now!”
Nine figures quickly and stealthily made their way to the mountain where Mitchell was waiting.

On the other hand, the feast was coming to an end inside the private room.
Heath got up and said, “Since everyone is looking forward to the marriage of Earl Ashleigh and Evie Lopez, we shall await good news from Marco. Asher, kindly follow me downstairs, where we’ve prepared a few performances for you and your wife.”
The woman in the red dress said, “Earl, why don’t you accompany me for a walk? I’m sure that your father has things to discuss with your teacher.”
Earl was currently on cloud nine. He’d gotten blessings from his parents for his marriage with Evie, and adding on to that, even his teachers had said that they would make it happen as soon as they could.
The only thing favonovel.com had to do now was to wait for his bride to come home.
“Alright, Mother,” Earl said, leading his mother outside.
There was a theater downstairs. Under the curious eyes of the public, Asher went to his assigned seat and sat down. A few pretty girls in costumes came onto the stage.
Heath and Marco were seated on either side of Asher. The girls in costume started dancing as Asher happily nodded in approval and enjoyed the show.
“Asher, I’m guessing that you’re here in Evereston today to discuss the secret realm?” Heath asked between performances.
Asher was just about to answer when they heard a loud explosion from behind them.
Boom!
There were at least four or five ear-shattering explosions. The ground started shaking.
