It was quite amicable inside the private room.
Heath himself couldn’t be considered one of the top three most important people in Everest Sect because the division head and the two assistant division heads were there.
However, Earl was considered the fourth most powerful person in the Ashleigh family. As Earl’s family’s host, Heath held the same rank as Earl.
Marco raised his wine glass and smiled at his guests, saying, “Asher, thank you for coming all the way here with your wife. Here’s a toast wishing you a great time here at Everest Sect!”
Asher chuckled and answered, “No, thank you for taking care of my son. I should be the one giving you a toast instead.”
Seeing his opportunity, Heath took his glass and stood up, saying, “You’re too kind. Let’s all give a toast tonight. By the way, I heard that your son already has his eye on someone. I think we’ll be hearing wedding bells very soon!”
Hearing this, both Asher and his wife were taken aback. They both looked at Earl in surprise.
“Haha! Finish up your wine first, and I’ll tell you everything you need to know, Asher. If you, as Earl’s parents, agree to his marriage, I can be his Officiant at the wedding. That’s the least I could do as his teacher,” Marco said, throwing a glance at Earl as favonovel.com spoke.
Earl quickly finished all the wine in his glass and started telling his parents everything in a proud, haughty voice.

On the other side of the mountain, the blizzard was picking up.
Isaac and his team had climbed a little over 500 feet. It wasn’t a very long distance up, but it was a very difficult journey because of how steep the mountain was. It had taken them an hour to get this far.
The entrance was on the lower half of a cliff. It looked a lot like a tiny cave opening.
Isaac hung on to his climbing knife with his right hand, his body dangling over the cliff, and motioned to Lupinus and a Shadow Soldier on his right.
Lupinus nodded and exchanged glances with the Shadow Soldier. They clung to the climbing knife and swung themselves toward the cave opening, easily leaping into it.
Further along the cave, two men in robes were chatting with each other.
One of them thought favonovel.com saw something and asked the other guard, “Did you see that? I think I saw someone, but favonovel.com disappeared…”
“You must be mistaken. There’s a huge blizzard outside. Nobody in their right minds would come up from the west side of the mountain,” the second guard answered with a roll of his eyes.
Suddenly, two huge blasts of spiritual energy rushed at them. Both guards froze in shock. Before they could collect their wits, two dark figures suddenly rushed at them.
Lupinus and the Shadow Soldier thrust their climbing knives into each of the guards’ throats, slicing their necks open before either could make a sound. They fell lifelessly to the floor.
The cave opening led to a very long rock tunnel.
Lupinus looked the other way and beckoned at the Shadow Soldier, saying, “Go get the rest. I’ll scout out the place ahead.”
Soon, Isaac and the remaining seven people leaped into the cave opening.
Evie had told them about the two guards at the cave opening. She’d also told them that there would be a few more further along the cave, so they all had to be taken care of.
All of a sudden, they heard a single meow from deeper into the tunnel, followed by three consecutive meows.
Isaac said in a low voice, “There are four more guards on the other end. Shadow One and Shadow Two, go help Lupinus out.”
Shadow Soldiers didn’t have names and only went by numbers. Since there were five of them, Isaac had given each of them a code name.
A while later, there was another series of meows coming from the tunnel. However, this time, the meows were long and dragged out.
Isaac waved his hand and said, “The coast is clear. Let’s go!”
This was the first time that Isaac, the four generals, and the five Shadow Soldiers entered the Everest Sect’s premises. The Shadow Soldiers weren’t here just to help Isaac out. They had a second mission, which was to infiltrate Everest Sect and gather as much information as they could possibly get on it.
Lupinus, Shadow One, and Shadow Two were on guard as they led the way. Everyone reached the end of the tunnel and walked out.
Finally, able to take a better look at their surroundings, they gauged that they were standing somewhere halfway up the mountain.
Before them, many buildings were decorated with bright, colorful hanging lights. The land had a basin topography with something like a valley in the middle of it. Most of the buildings were situated in the center and were surrounded by more sparsely scattered buildings around the mountain area, which were also brightly lit.
“This looks like paradise,” Mitchell said with a jealous sigh.
Isaac replied in a low voice, “We need to be quick. Evie said that the guards change shifts at midnight sharp. We only have two hours left.”
He gauged the distance between their location and the center of the land, which housed the most buildings. It was at least three kilometers away.
He wasn’t going to waste all of his explosives on the borders if favonovel.com were to teach Everest Sect a lesson.
