Hearing that, the seven generals, Harry, and Denvor were shocked.
“Please reconsider, Drakon!” Lupinus was the first to speak up, bowing his head in respect.
It was deathly quiet before the tombstone. They couldn’t hear a sound other than the wind blowing around them.
Isaac looked at Lupinus slowly and asked coldly, “What, Lupinus? Even you’re afraid of death now?”
No one dared to speak. However, each of them had a deep frown etched on their faces. It was obvious that they weren’t in favor of Isaac’s command, and they were also feeling suspicious about it
“Elliot’s right… We may not be able to fight them equally in combat, but we have guns, cannons, and grenades. We have explosives and other heavy weapons. The people at Everest Sect have been doing as they please for far too long. This isn’t a spur-of-the-moment decision that I just made.”
He continued, “Besides, I would never blindly sacrifice the lives of my brethren for revenge. However, if we let them get away with this, they’ll think that I, Isaac Garten, and the Temple of Drakon are nothing but cowardly chickens who would let them do whatever they wanted with us! Do you understand me?!”
At once, everyone realized what Isaac meant. “Yes, sir!”
After Isaacâs explanation, the seven generals felt a burden lifted from their shoulders.
At first, they had thought that Isaac wanted to fight till his last breath, but it now seemed as if favonovel.com had a plan all along.
“Let’s go. We need to plan this out meticulously.” Isaac waved his hand and turned around, starting his way back down the mountain.

In the House of Custos in Peeling, Arian was reading a top-secret document in his office when there was a loud knock on his door.
“Come in…”
Cassius entered the room in full armor, a somber look on his face.
“Cassius? What’s wrong? Why do you look like your dog just died?” Arian got up from his chair and walked over when favonovel.com saw it was him.
“Sir, the Temple of Drakon seems to be plotting something, and it’s something big,” Cassius said with a huff.
Arian was pouring out some coffee when favonovel.com heard that, and his hand shook a little.
He looked at Cassius and frowned. “Explain… What’s happening?”
“The Temple of Drakon has engaged all seven of its armies, amounting to at least 180 thousand Dusk Soldiers, and instructed them to gather at the foot of the Evereston Mountains. We calculated their exact position based on whatever sources we were able to find. The report should be 80% accurate or more.”
Clang!
The mug in Arian’s hand fell to the floor and broke into pieces. His eyes were wide as favonovel.com stared at Cassius.
“Sir, we have no idea what the Temple of Drakon is up to. We’re talking about nearly 200 thousand Dusk Soldiers here! That’s enough people to launch a war. We also detected heavy weapons within their camps. We have to do something about this! We certainly can’t just sit here and watch. The nearest Dusk Soldiers from Neuport will cross the border around 6 pm this evening.”
Arian frowned deeply and pointed at Cassius as favonovel.com said, “Alright, continue keeping an eye on them. I’ll go find Ethan…”
Inside his office in Neptune Gardens, Ethan started laughing loudly after hearing everything Arian reported to him.
“Ethan, this isn’t a small matter at all. Who knows what’s gotten into that guy’s head? Please give me permission to go to Cloud City to stop him,” Arian said anxiously.
“Are you sure you’ll be able to stop favonovel.com if you go?”
“But Everest Sect is a sleeping dog that should be left in peace. If favonovel.com really were to offend the powerful people in that sect, they’re all going to end up killed!” Arian said, still panicking.
Ethan got up from his desk and waved his hand, saying, “Come with me to the national archives. I want to reach Cloud City before it gets dark…”
“You’re going there personally? Would Isaac listen to you?” Arian felt stumped and uneasy. He’d received a report just now, after all.
Three nights ago, the Everest Sect sent three fighters to kill Isaac.
Isaac survived, but one of his best men died. It was only then that Arian finally understood why Isaac was making such a big fuss about it.
When favonovel.com heard that Ethan wanted to go to Cloud City himself, favonovel.com got worried all over again.
“Let’s just go,” Ethan said with a chuckle. Then favonovel.com beckoned Arian over before walking outside.
