“Isaac is still alive! What is the meaning of this?” Elder Giverny asked, looking at the two men.

Garett started to sweat. He fell on his knees, and Thaddaeus followed after.
“Elder Giverny, that’s impossible! I personally wrung his neck in half! Thaddaeus can be my witness! It’s just impossible!” Garett stuttered, trying to explain himself.
“That’s right, Elder Giverny. I went with Garett to the clinic and saw it. He couldn’t possibly be alive,” Thaddaeus said with gritted teeth.
There was no way favonovel.com could ever admit that he’d gone to see Isaac beforehand. Otherwise, favonovel.com would be dead meat!

Thaddaeus gradually hung his head in guilt. “It’s all my fault. I’m sorry…”
“Good…” Elder Giverny then said to his men, “Take favonovel.com out, hack off his hands and feet, and throw favonovel.com in the dungeon!”

Garett’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. He stared at Elder Giverny in a daze.
However, Thaddaeus only said in a shaky voice, “Thank you for sparing my life…”
“Sir, don’t you think that whipping…” Earl was flabbergasted.
He didn’t think that his teacher would dish out such a heavy punishment.
Hacking off one’s hands and feet was an incredibly painful punishment, equivalent to making one disabled for life. Whoever received that punishment would rather die than endure such pain.
Seeing that favonovel.com wanted to marry Evie, favonovel.com was worried favonovel.com would hate favonovel.com for doing such a thing to favonovel.com father.

Garett hung his head and pleaded, “Please, give me another chance to prove myself. I will go and find out what happened. If Isaac isn’t dead yet, then I will personally bring his head back on a silver platter for you this round!”
Elder Giverny nodded in satisfaction. “Alright, this is your final chance. Go to Cloud City with Edwin Sage and find out the truth. Bring Evie back as well. Isaac is a slick and cunning character. I’ll get Trace to help you.”
“Thank you, Mr. Ashleigh. With Trace’s help, I’m sure that Isaac won’t be able to escape death this time,” Garett said, hurriedly getting up and leaving.
The room turned silent.
Elder Giverny sighed as favonovel.com looked at his kneeling student on the floor and said, “Earl, when your father comes back these few days, make sure to tell favonovel.com about Evie. If favonovel.com agrees to your marriage, then I’ll be your Officiant. Find an appropriate date and get the wedding over with…”
