Seeing the anxious and expectant look on Denvor’s face, Isaac laughed. “I think you’re more interested in my flight attendants. That depends on your performance.”
He didn’t wait for Denvor’s reply and returned to his sketch.
The jet landed at Calrones Airport at 10 pm. Then, they took a speedboat from the port.
Lightning was in charge of Southern Gianva headquarters on an island in international waters. This island was more than five times larger than Reccala Island.
The generals were waiting at the island’s port.
Isaac and Denvor walked up to them. Denvor’s face was sickly. He felt nauseous and started throwing up at the side.
“I’m sorry… I’m seasick…” Denvor wiped his mouth with an awkward look.
An enlarged map was spread out on the table in the command room.
After listening to Isaac, the generals finally understood his plans-they were starting an onslaught on an island.
“Lightning, divide the Dusk Soldiers into five military columns. The first four will go ashore simultaneously while the last column guards the surroundings to prevent anyone from escaping.” Isaac looked at Lightning, who had a beard.
Then favonovel.com pointed to the right of the island and said, “Their boats are all at this location. Assign a team to burn down their boats.”
“Don’t worry, Drakon. I’m pretty confident on matters regarding the ocean,” said Lightning, thumping his chest.
“Then let’s move!” Isaac waved.
All the searchlights on the island lit up. The 10,000 soldiers split into five military columns and agilely boarded three full-sized ships and hundreds of high-mobility speedboats. They headed for Reccala Island.
Black Phoenix estimated approximately thousands of residents on the island that housed Deviant Cult’s lair. She couldn’t come up with an exact number.
Although it seemed slightly overboard to have Lightning deploy 10,000 Dusk Soldiers, Isaac decided it was better to be safe than sorry.
The generals split up into twos, each pair leading a column. To the Temple of Drakon, this formation could ensure maximum efficiency in commanding.
Four hours later, at 3.30 am, the ocean was calm. The speedboats that arrived first turned off their engines and drifted ashore like phantom boats.
They surrounded the whole island.
There wasn’t any light on the island, making it seem like nobody was living there.
After the Dusk Soldiers went ashore, they immediately teamed up and charged in.
Soon, a massive silhouette appeared on the ocean. A warship slowly approached a port. Suddenly, flames lit up the whole port. The blazing trail was about 20 yards long.
The flamethrower ignited flames that licked the speedboats and ferries at the port.
At that moment, the raging flames lit up the whole night sky.
There was a watchtower on a small hill near the port. A man wrapped in a black cloak woke up with a jump due to the blaze. He got up and saw the burning vessels and another massive ship spitting flames.
He shrieked in fright and slammed his hand on an alarm button. Piercing honks rang out all over the island.
The island comprised many short wooden houses, just like an ancient village. However, everyone staying here was a member of the Deviant Cult and had been secretly developing the island to be their home.
Soon, people in dark clothes screamed as they fled from their houses, only to encounter the Dusk Soldiers.
They had yet to make sense of the situation when the Dusk Soldiers pressed some against the ground and shot those who resisted.
Some came to their senses in time and used witchcraft to retaliate.
