Denvor nodded and said, “The Soul-Eating Poison is different from other types of poisons and curses. It cannot be injected completely into the host’s body all at once, but rather, it has to be injected periodically over time. I just did some basic calculations. I’m sure that the person behind this will show up to cast the third curse on your wife within the next three days.”
He continued, “The only thing we have to do now is find a way to keep your wife at home. We’ll wait here patiently.”
“Is there no cure for this?” Isaac asked with a frown. “An antidote?”
Even if Denvor said it would take three days, what if it took longer than that?
