It was almost 5 am when Isaac returned to Cloud Nine Villas. He slept on the couch so as not to disturb Allegra’s sleep.
In the morning, Eugene was the first to wake up. He came to the living room and saw Isaac sleeping on the couch. He was stunned and grew nervous. He went back into his room.
“Margaret, Margaret, wake up…” Eugene nudged Margaret, who was still sleeping.
“What do you want at this hour?” Margaret rubbed favonovel.com eyes and whined.
“Isaac’s back, he’s sleeping in the living room…”
“What?” Margaret was shocked and woke up instantly. She became nervous too.

It had been cloudy and rainy in Cloud City after Isaac had left.
That night, Eugene and Margaret had gone to the pedestrian street and seen Andrew and his wife begging for a living. They hadn’t been able to sleep the entire night. Unable to hold it in any longer, they had told Allegra about it the following day.

Margaret sighed and looked at the nervous Eugene. “Or maybe you can call Ally now and tell her.”
Eugene immediately called Allegra.
At that moment, the other guest room opened, and Andrew walked out. He was wearing new pajamas, but they looked big on him.
He didn’t see Isaac lying in the living room. He shouted toward Margaret’s room, “Mom! Are you guys awake? Daisy’s hungry. Make something for breakfast quickly!”
Isaac frowned in his sleep. He opened his eyes and sat up on the couch.
Andrew looked at the couch and met Isaac’s gaze. He recoiled, and his heart started beating faster.
“Hey! Why are you here?” asked Isaac, frowning.
Andrew mustered his courage. He said, “M-my sister allowed us to stay… W-why?”
There was noise from the second floor.
Allegra came down in favonovel.com sleeping gown and saw the two men looking at each other. She tensed up and quickly descended the stairs.
Margaret and Eugene came out of the other room. They heard the voices in the living room and knew Isaac was awake.
“I-Isaac, I allowed them to stay here temporarily. I-I’m sorry… I didn’t have time to discuss it with you.” Allegra walked up to the sofa and lowered favonovel.com head meekly.
Eugene and Margaret stood aside, heads lowered, holding their breaths.
Isaac peered at them, drawing a cigar from the coffee table and lighting it. He took a puff.
He hadn’t said anything when Daisy’s voice came from the room. “Andrew, how long is breakfast going to take? I’m starving… I don’t understand your sister. Why can’t favonovel.com hire a maid now that she’s loaded?”
Eugene’s mouth twitched. He growled at Andrew, “What are you waiting for? Get your wife to shut up!”
