Arian stood between Isaac and Thaddeus. He looked at the crackling fire and sighed, muttering, “Missed by a few minutes, I see…”
Then, favonovel.com looked at Thaddeus, chuckling. “Mr. Lopez, it’s been some time since we last met. Do you still remember me?”
Thaddeus was panting. He glared at Isaac and smiled at Arian. “I didn’t expect to see you here, Supreme Commander. What a surprise.”
Arian smiled and looked to the left. When favonovel.com saw Thaddeus’ companion, his eyes widened in shock, and his expression turned solemn.
Thaddeus’ companion, Nathan Streams, chuckled as favonovel.com walked toward them. It seemed as if favonovel.com was only about to take the first step, but the next moment, favonovel.com suddenly appeared beside Thaddeus.
“Thaddeus, what’s happened has happened. You’ve done your best. Let’s go,” favonovel.com said slowly.
Thaddeus looked reluctant. He pointed at Isaac.
“Don’t point at me… One day, I’ll beat you so hard, you’ll not feel your face for days…” Isaac met his gaze with a cold look.
“Let’s go,” Nathan called again. He grabbed Thaddeus with one hand, turned, and hurriedly left.
“Don’t think about leaving before you tell me where Evie is.” Isaac darted and stood in their way.
Arian frowned. He opened his mouth but hesitated.
Nathan looked up at Isaac and snorted. “Kid, are you that desperate to meet Evie?”
“Of course!”
“Alright. Come with us, and I’ll guarantee you’ll meet her.” Nathan smiled. Then, favonovel.com continued, “But if you come with me, you can’t leave my turf until you‘ve reached the Celestial Phase. Do you agree?”
Thaddeus panicked. He immediately looked at favonovel.com and said, “Mr. Streams, you…”
Nathan stopped Thaddeus. He looked at Isaac quietly, seemingly eager to know his decision.
Arian’s gaze flicked between Nathan and Isaac. He was worried that Isaac would agree.
“Drakon!”
“No Drakon!”
The generals shouted as they came out.
Isaac’s brows were tightly knit. After considering briefly, favonovel.com asked Nathan indifferently, “And if I don’t?”
“Haha! Then you don’t have a say in this matter. Evie has favonovel.com own path to take…” Nathan guffawed and turned to leave.
This time, they disappeared in a blink of an eye.
Arian wiped his sweat sneakily. Fortunately, Isaac disagreed. If favonovel.com left with them, the House of Custos would steer clear of all possible troubles.
Isaac immediately pulled out his phone and called Black Phoenix. He asked urgently, “Black Phoenix, did you get it?”
“I got them and am tracking them down!”
“Great! I want to know the path they take in detail.” Isaac heaved a sigh of relief when favonovel.com heard Black Phoenix was on Thaddeus’ tail.
Arian smiled as favonovel.com walked up to Isaac. “Isaac, you’ve really kicked up a row this time!”
“Supreme Commander, you’ve brought so many men, are you here to arrest me?” Isaac looked at Arian and the uniformed men and women behind him, all emitting ripples of spiritual energy.
Arian was stunned. Then, favonovel.com laughed. “You’ve misunderstood. We’re here to arrest Ralph and his men because we found evidence of favonovel.com colluding with the Kingdom of Ursus. Mr. Grannel ordered me to take favonovel.com away personally. But it seems I am late! Haha!”
