Mordred’s subordinate’s eyes reddened at his words. He asked, his voice quivering, “First Elder, why don’t y-you come with us?”
“Hah! I’m an elder. How can I leave at a moment like this? Besides, Ralph is keeping an eye on me. If I step outside this building, our families will be in danger. Now, go!”
Mordred watched his subordinate disappear around the corner, shut his eyes, and sighed. Then, favonovel.com returned to the meeting hall.
The Neal family’s annihilation, Glenn’s death, and, finally, the life-threatening injuries favonovel.com suffered all taught favonovel.com one thing, the Temple of Drakon wasn’t necessarily better than Astraeus in terms of strength. But the one thing that led to Astraeus’ downfall was the lack of unity among the members.
Soon, dawn broke. Martial arts experts from various places arrived at Astraeus headquarters one after the other.
Ralph remained in his room and didn’t show his face, but somehow, those gathered could sense something was amiss.

At the Yves family’s residence, Isaac remained in his seat throughout the night without sleeping a wink. Before him, Jeremiah and the rest had bloodshot eyes.
A maid approached Jeremiah and whispered to him.
Jeremiah looked up and said, “Mr. Garten, breakfast is served. Do you, perhaps, want to have some?”
Isaac glanced at his phone and muttered, “Hmm… We’re halfway through. Let’s get something to eat.”
He was up all night, not because favonovel.com was monitoring the progress of their “hunt”. Instead, favonovel.com was concerned about unforeseen circumstances.
The Yves family’s residence was nearby the airport, and Jeremiah and Phineas were with him. If anything did happen, favonovel.com would have assistance.
When they saw Isaac’s smile, Jeremiah and Phineas exchanged glances and secretly let out the breath they had been holding in.
That night, they would receive the death news of someone they knew every few hours. Most importantly, these people were on par with them in terms of social status and capabilities. But now, all were dead!
Around 4 pm, a few cars stopped outside the house.
Willis and Lucas got out first and headed in while 20 Dusk Soldiers captains stood in a file outside. They were the first to arrive after completing their missions.
Black Phoenix led them here.
“Too fast, you two. You’re five hours early.” Isaac sipped his tea and laughed.
Willis laughed dryly. “Those were merely small fries, they posed no threats. It would be more fun to head straight for Neuport.”
“Drakon, I’ve received intel about a lot of activities at Neuport, they gathered quite a number of martial arts practitioners,” reported Lucas with an impassive expression.
Isaac smiled. “It’s normal for them to react, it would be peculiar if they didn’t. Have some food. We’ll leave for Neuport when they’re all here.”
At 8 pm, the seven generals and 70 Dusk Soldier captains arrived.
Isaac was in his seat. Jeremiah and Phineas heard about how they killed all the lords and leaders of Astraeus and every patriarch of the noble families within a day. The death count was nearly 70.
Jeremiah and Phineas were sweating all over. They wouldn’t be standing here if they didn’t offer their allegiance to Isaac.
“Lupinus, Lucas. Where are your men?”
Lupinus immediately said, “Drakon, 10,000 Dusk Soldiers from the north have reached Mt. Futo, 30 kilometers from Astraeus.”
“20,000 Dusk Soldiers from the northwest have crossed the Moaning River and are less than 30 kilometers away.”
Isaac nodded and rose to his feet. His eyes gleamed as favonovel.com said in a low voice, “Mitchell’s 20,000 Dusk Soldiers have reached their destination too. Astraeus has one day to prepare and will certainly put up a tough fight. When the three troops meet… We’ll try a new tactic today.”
Isaac smiled and strode out of the house.
