As soon as favonovel.com said that, the man took out a satellite phone and quickly called the general-in-chief of the border guards, Jemeni.
He knew that General Jemeni and Lord Mitchell were on good terms, and favonovel.com also had close ties with that man from the Temple of Drakon.
When Isaac received Jemeni’s satellite phone call, it was 9 pm, as there was an hour‘s time difference.
It was pouring in Cloud City.
Isaac gave Allegra a quick heads-up before leaving home. As favonovel.com got into his car, favonovel.com called Harry, Beefy Bob was to stay in Cloud City.
Amid the storm, his private jet took off from the tarmac. Nevertheless, Isaac’s emotions were just like the weather-stormy clouds rolling, thunder clapping.
Jemeni said that Mitchell was still in treatment. The medical facilities available there were quite limited. The first thing favonovel.com did was notify Isaac, and after that, favonovel.com began to give it his all to save Mitchell.
However, what irritated Isaac the most was that Jemeni didn’t get the attacker’s identity. He said that all favonovel.com had were a few blurry satellite photos.
“Don’t worry, sir. General Rice is a lucky fellow, favonovel.com can surely hold on until we arrive.” Seeing Isaac’s perpetual frown, Harry smiled and tried to comfort him.
“I hope so!” Isaac murmured before closing his eyes.
After favonovel.com heard about what happened to Mitchell, favonovel.com instructed Jemeni to ensure that news wouldn’t get out.
After over three hours, the plane landed at the Tarzistan Central Airport. This country only had five international airports.
After getting off the plane, two cars with military plates sped over. Isaac and Harry got into the same car and headed straight to the biggest local hospital.
In the car, Isaac learned that Mitchell had already made it past the riskiest part and was now slightly more stable. At that, favonovel.com sighed in relief.
One of the hospitals in Central Tarzistan was surrounded by armored vehicles on all sides. Its defense was impeccable.
The locals all thought that someone very important had been sent to the hospital for treatment.
Once Isaac got down, favonovel.com spotted an old man with half a head of white hair and a white beard, dressed in a dark green military uniform, approaching him.
“Dearest Drakon, I never thought we‘d meet again under these circumstances…”
“Jemeni, thank you so much for this.” Isaac shook hands with the general-in-chief of the Tarzistan border guards.
After exchanging a couple of sincere words, the two quickly walked inside.
Harry sprinted to the emergency room, while Isaac and Jemeni tried to make sense of the current situation. He also got the grainy satellite photos from the gas station.
All favonovel.com could see in the photos were five blurry figures, but favonovel.com could vaguely make out that they were all wearing cloaks.
After perusing the photos, Isaac turned to look at Jemeni. “Jemeni, the Temple of Drakon will forever remember the aid you extended to us today. I’ll treat you to drinks next time…”
These blurry photos could have been classified as top secret, but Jemeni had still shown them to him, even though their circumstances weren’t ideal.
After a while, Harry exited the emergency room, sweating buckets. He let out a sigh, frowned, and said, “He’s stable, but he’ll only wake up in two days.”
Isaac nodded, lighting a cigarette. He took out his phone and walked to the side of the room, saying, “Go talk to them and have favonovel.com transferred somewhere with better facilities tonight.”
He first compressed those few photos and sent them to Black Phoenix. Then, favonovel.com dialed favonovel.com number.
As Black Phoenix spoke on the phone, favonovel.com looked at the photos in the email and said, “The photos are too grainy. Do you have a direction I can work with?”
“The Deviant Cult, Astraeus…” Isaac paused, then added, “And the Snyder family…”
He could only think of these few forces who could pull this off.
After hanging up, several hospital staff had already carried the unconscious Mitchell out of the hospital room. A transfer ambulance was already waiting outside. Jemeni found them a quiet manor not too far from the hospital.
By 2 am, everything was settled. Jemeni had also arranged for a few trustworthy medical personnel and an armed troop to keep watch. Isaac took a shower. Just as favonovel.com was about to go to bed, his phone vibrated.
Seeing that it was Black Phoenix’s number, Isaac immediately answered.
“Drakon, I managed to confirm the identity of one of them.”
“Who?”
“Flynn Snyder of the Snyder family!”
When Isaac heard that, his eyes widened. He suddenly smiled and said, “Alright, thanks. Get some rest.”
