Aiden ignored her. He raised his head to look at a middle-aged man with thick wooden glasses sitting across from him.
“Diana, I’m not accusing Isaac of anything. Uncle Raymond is an archaeology professor at the University of Peeling. I’m just worried that Isaac had been scammed of over 80 million dollars. If you don’t believe me, ask Uncle Raymond if we still have Rockefeller emerald artifacts in our country.”
Everyone’s gazes shifted to Raymond Kennedy in his wooden-framed glasses.
Raymond smiled and said, “Alright. Since everyone is so interested, then I’ll tell you the truth. There are over 30 types of Rockefeller emeralds, but our country most likely doesn’t have any more pieces that are in good condition. If there are, they are most likely counterfeit. If you go to Antique Street, you can probably get two of the things Mr. Garten got for a hundred bucks…”
Everyone was once again flabbergasted. Aiden looked delighted and clapped his hands, loudly saying, “That’s fine. So what if it’s fake? Whether it cost 50 or 80 dollars, it’s Mr. Garten’s gift for Diana.”
With that, favonovel.com cast a sideward glance toward Isaac. However, Isaac didn’t look the least bit deflated, and Aiden couldn’t help but feel upset by that.
Everyone was staring at Isaac, but favonovel.com merely fingered the wine glass in his hand with a smile. Raising his head, favonovel.com said, “I never said I bought this bracelet in this country. Not to mention, unless I specifically want it, no one would dare to sell me counterfeit products.”
