He’d just put the phone to his ear when Major immediately started screaming, “Isaac Garten, how dare you disregard international laws and attack our city in the south?! You’re only digging a deeper hole for yourself!”
“And who the f*ck are you? I only know of General Lowes. He is the only one I will speak to.” The tone of Isaac’s voice only sent Major into another frenzy.
Before hanging up, Isaac chuckled and said, “Oh, here’s a gentle reminder for you. We’re still holding tens of thousands of your civilians captive in Cath City, so I hope we can come to an agreement very, very soon. No funny business or everyone dies. I think this is a fair exchange, don’t you think so?”
He cut off the call abruptly after that.
Seeing how Isaac responded the call, Crawson’s jaw had already fallen to the floor in shock.
“Isaac, how dare you use the lives of the civilians to threaten us! Our soldiers would never bow to a bastard like you! Just wait! You’re going to be killed!” Crawson roared.

At the northern side, Lamont and his other four generals were seated in the meeting room with solemn expressions on their faces.

Major slapped the table and roared, “I propose that we deploy the Air Force and the heavy missiles immediately to stop favonovel.com from leaving! We can’t let this bastard Isaac get away!”
“I second Major’s proposal. This man is too arrogant and too full of himself. He managed to capture Crawson alive, and now he’s threatening us with the civilians’ lives! Our country refuses to be threatened by a maniac like him!” another senior said.
Lamont sighed. He said slowly, “Don’t forget that Cath City is the southern gate to our country, and there are millions of innocent civilians there, along with at least 100,000 captive soldiers there waiting for us. I’m afraid that by the time the Air Forces are informed, Isaac would have already received the news and started another massacre in the city.”
He continued, “Also, the Temple of Drakon still has 200,000 Dawn Soldiers in the northwest and northeast, along with his Sky Hawks fighter jets with the most advanced technology. Did you really think favonovel.com was just exaggerating? No way! He already has every step figured out!”
“If we retaliate, the Kingdom of Ursus will end up in a war. And this is not something the King would want!” Lamont managed to shut up the rest of his generals.
Another plump old man in armor said coldly, “Then, what are we supposed to do? Are we really going to try negotiating with that lunatic?”
“No! I’m against that decision! ” Major said immediately.
Lamont narrowed his eyes at Major and said coldly, “Did you know that the Temple of Drakon army had already reached the outer gates of Cath City three days ago? Why did nobody inform me of this? Let me tell you that Crawson has already committed a capital offense for withholding this information from me!”
Major panicked. He didn’t know what to say, and his mouth was left hanging open.
“If neither of you dares to face Isaac in battle, then even I no longer have the qualifications to sit here with you!” Lamont then told his assistant, “Go and prepare my plane. We are going to Cath City now!”
He left the meeting room after that.
The seniors in the room exchanged glances with each other before following Lamont out as well.

One hour later, a few black helicopters landed about 50 feet from Isaac and his gang.
Lamont and three seniors in armor alighted from the helicopter and approached Isaac under the protection of about twenty Wild Fighters.
Isaac and the rest of his seven generals watched the newcomers with caution.
“Isaac, it’s been a few years since I saw you. You‘re making things very difficult for me, I’m afraid,” Lamont said as favonovel.com hurried over to Isaac.
He glanced at Crawson on the ground and shot a bitter smile at Isaac.
The other party just glanced at favonovel.com coldly before spoke, “I didn’t think that you‘d come here personally… Then, let’s get straight to the point. I have two requirements. Firstly, General Damien Rovin’s grave will be set up right here, and this marks the new border for your country…”
He continued, “Secondly, within the next hundred years, not a single person from the Kingdom of Ursus is allowed to cross this very border as an atonement for the sins of today!”
