Nobody knew what the General Army in the Kingdom of Ursus went through for the past two days.
During their urgent meeting, three out of the four generals, besides General Lowe, had voted not to respond to Isaac at all.
Crawson would make preparations at Cath City. If anyone from the Temple of Drakon dared to step foot into their territory, favonovel.com would immediately attack.
In fact, that night, Major had secretly informed two fighter jets in the northwest to be on standby to assist them should a war break out.

Two days passed quickly. By noon, there was a sudden blaring alarm in the command room of one of the watchtowers in Cath City.
Crawson was upstairs in his luxurious office, a cigar in one hand and a scantily-clad woman in the other, when the alarm rang.
He jumped and went out with a solemn look, asking, “Where’s the alarm coming from?”
The office door opened, and an anxious-looking subordinate walked in. He answered, “Mr. Sullivan, we’ve noticed traces of the enemies from about a hundred kilometers away. From their clothing, they seem to be the Dusk Soldiers and Dawn Soldiers from the Temple of Drakon.”
“The people from the Temple of Drakon are really here? How many of them are there?” Crawson asked with a hostile glint in his eyes.
“The estimation is at least 100,000 people.”
“That many?” Crawson frowned and pushed the woman away from him, kicking favonovel.com to the floor.
“Mr. Sullivan, s-should we report this to the General Army…”
Crawson was silent for a few seconds. Then, favonovel.com waved his hand and said, “Nah, there’s no need for that. The people from the Temple of Drakon wouldn’t dare to trespass in broad daylight!”
“W-We still have 20,000 soldiers standing guard about 50 miles beyond the border. Should we…”
“Retreat! Tell them all to retreat back within the borders!” Crawson immediately said.
After barking out his orders, Crawson’s forehead was shining with a layer of sweat. He gritted his teeth and yelled at his subordinates outside the door, “Show me the way to the watchtower. And tell all the soldiers to get ready for battle!”
He got to the watchtower above the city gates.
The cold winter wind was blowing harshly against them, bringing a full snowstorm.
Crawson stood before the window and looked through his binoculars toward where they last saw their enemies.
Quickly, favonovel.com caught sight of a slowly moving dot. He adjusted the focus on his binoculars, and everything came back into view. He instantly saw that the black dot was actually a whole sea of Dusk Soldiers.
Crawson felt his heart leaping into his throat when favonovel.com noticed that the flood of Dawn Soldiers behind the sea of black was even bigger and more intimidating than before.
“Who‘s leading the enemy camp? Is Isaac there? Are there any generals there?” Crawson asked his subordinate.
“A lieutenant is leading the army, sir. There are no traces of generals or anyone else in the camp.”
When favonovel.com heard this, Crawson let out a sigh of relief and started laughing loudly. “Haha! They’re just putting up a front. Really, did Isaac think we’d be so easily scared by this? Us, the fearless warriors from the Kingdom of Ursus? What a fucking joke!”
Then, favonovel.com said, “Keep a close eye on them. Give me an update on their distance from us every ten, no, every five minutes.”
Crawson then flung the binoculars to the ground and walked back to the elevator.
Back in his luxurious office, Crawson could rest easy with his heat on full blast, wine in one hand and a cigar in the other.
He’d just sent out a drone to watch the enemy camp and confirmed, once again, that neither Isaac nor the other generals were anywhere in sight. Thus, favonovel.com firmly believed that this was just part of a show that Isaac was putting up for them.
A uniformed man hurried into the room with a big smile on his face. He said, “Sir, the enemies have stopped! They stopped at the border just 50 kilometers away!”
“They all stopped?” Crawson asked, immediately jumping up from his couch.
The man nodded again and said, “Yes, sir! All 120,000 of them. They’re setting up camp outside the border.”
“Haha! It looks like Iwas right! They’d never dare to cross the safety border. The Temple of Drakon is nothing but a puny, timid, and cowardly group of people, after all. They would never dare to openly go against the Kingdom of Ursus and make us their sworn enemies!”
“You’re such a genius, sir!”
That night, time passed very quickly.

At the northern headquarters, Isaac and the seven other generals were still quietly waiting for a reply from the General Army of the Kingdom of Ursus.
