Both lieutenants looked at Damien with teary eyes as they gritted their teeth and nodded.
Half an hour later, Damien walked out of the building. The 5,000 Dusk Soldiers were waiting for him, along with a whole fleet of military snow trucks.
It was a cold and snowy night. The light at the top of the building shone down brightly on them.
Yael put on his military suit and walked up to greet Damien, “General, the troops are all here. Ready for your orders!”
“Let’s go!” Damien said, waving his hand forward. He then hopped into a Jeep.
Around three kilometers later, the troops separated into two teams as they headed toward the deepest, iciest parts of Cyberia.
There was a special type of soldier in the Kingdom of Ursus known as the Wild Fighters. They possessed skills that were somewhat similar to those of martial fighters, but the way they obtained their “powers” were different. They didn’t rely on meditation as the martial fighters did. Instead, Wild Fighters got their powers and enhanced strength from genetic modification.
Wild Fighters were further divided into nine grades. Most of the Wild Fighters were only from grades two to three. They got growingly powerful as the grades went up, but in reality, there were barely any Wild Fighters in the higher grades.
The Wild Fighter that Isaac beheaded back in the day was a Grade 7 Wild Fighter General with the nickname “Undefeatable God”.
Isaac purposely told Damien to defend the northern border because it was a crucial area. There were hundreds and thousands of acres of green grass beyond the border. And even if the conditions were harsh, Damien never once let Isaac down.
However, the enemy only had 500 people in their camp now, and they managed to sink his entire 2,000-person army, along with his lieutenant. This told Damien that there was something abnormal about those 500 people from the enemy camp, and if favonovel.com didn’t come out here to see for himself, favonovel.com would only be sending more and more of his own people to die.
At the crack of dawn, the soldier in the front passenger seat turned to look at Damien and said, “General, we’ll be entering a canyon in half an hour. The enemies are moving north.”
“Have we checked the top of the canyon?”
“We sent a drone up and confirmed that the coast is clear. Lieutenant Ryker is also on his way.”
“Get down in 20 minutes. We need to stop the opponents before they come out from the other side of the canyon,” Damien said, a glint of hostility flashing across his eyes. He had a murderous aura about favonovel.com too.
Inside the big canyon, the army of 500 men clad in white armor swiftly headed north.
Suddenly, a bright light shone toward them.
The enemy camp immediately stopped in their tracks. A chubby man with a face full of stubble cackled and took a few steps forward, saying, “Finally, the main character is here!”
“Attack!”
A loud voice rang throughout the walls of the canyon. Three thousand Dusk Soldiers rushed toward the enemy camp with the intent to kill.
“Attack!”
Another voice rang out from behind them. The enemy troop hurriedly looked behind them and saw another fleet of black-armored soldiers rushing at them.
They were surrounded. There was no way to run!
Damien and three Dusk Soldiers stood on top of a hill from a while away, observing the SOC-men enemy camp and realizing they didn’t seem the least bit flustered.
Just then, a few clones appeared within the enemy camp and flew toward Damien.
When the clones came into contact with the 3,000 Dusk Soldiers charging at them, huge explosions of spiritual energy happened, causing hundreds of soldiers to fall with loud cries.
Damien narrowed his eyes and immediately sensed that they were all in danger.
His face turned dark as favonovel.com said, “They have martial fighters among them! We’ve been gravely mistaken all along!”
