As soon as Jeremiah left, the two elders started showing their anxiety.
Elder Ziegler, Third Elder, was frantic. He said, “First Elder, are you telling me and Fifth…”
“No, you’re both coming with me,” Glenn answered with a wave of his hand.
“Huh? Then what about the Yves…”
Glenn sighed and said through gritted teeth, “Isaac, that b*stard, he’s gone and f*cked up all my plans. There’s nothing we can do now except abandon the Yves family. Once we’re out of here, I want to take over Astraeus as soon as possible!”

Third and Fifth Elders shuddered when they heard his words. They had known about Glenn’s plans all along, but they never thought that it would happen so quickly.

On the other hand, inside Evie’s room, favonovel.com and Isaac were sitting along the edge of the bed.
Evie looked at Isaac worriedly and asked, “Are you really going to declare war against Astraeus? If my father…”
Seeing the look of worry on Evie’s face, Isaac let out a soft laugh and said, “Did I say I was going to declare war against them? I’ve already given Glenn a chance. I’ve also given your father a chance.”
“Who’s Joseph, by the way? Why did you want Glenn to bring his head back on a platter?” Evie thought the name sounded familiar.
“I’m curious too. I can’t believe that the First Elder of Astraeus is actually in cahoots with someone from the Deviant Cult and can even order them around,” Isaac answered with a cold laugh.
He filled favonovel.com in on everything Joseph had done on Mt. Equest.
The frown on Evie‘s face was evident as favonovel.com listened to him. She clenched favonovel.com fists and said, “To think that Glenn is secretly working with someone from the Deviant Cult! That’s an unforgivable sin in itself. But, about that venom, what if Glenn really killed Joseph?”
“I fhe killed him, then I’ll just have to trouble the Apothecary. l just told favonovel.com to kill Joseph to be certain of something,” Isaac said, then frowned.

In the blink of an eye, three hours had passed. Isaac fell asleep in Evie’s lap.
There was a sudden, hurried knock, and Beefy Bob’s anxious voice sounded through the door. “Isaac, someone’s trying to get out! The Dusk Soldiers are trying to hold them back.”

Isaac opened his eyes immediately and sprang for the door.
He opened the door and said coldly, “Who’s trying to get out?”
“Glenn Snyder,” Beefy Bob answered, looking at his phone.
A dangerous look appeared in Isaac’s eyes. He said icily, “Just as I thought. He isn’t willing to kill Joseph. Come with me now. We have to stop him…”
He’d just entered the corridor when favonovel.com saw Jeremiah and all of his powerful guards blocking the way.
