“Hello, who is this?” A low voice came from the phone.
“Glenn, it seems like my words went out your other ear. Why hasn’t Evie returned to Cloud City?” Isaac smiled lightly.
The other person on the phone paused for a moment. He was really shocked that Isaac had managed to get his number.
“So it’s Drakon. Hahaha! Qhat are you saying? Evie isn’t in Cloud City? Well, I don’t know about that. Evie’s the eldest princess, only the Supreme Leader can control her,” Glenn said in a neutral tone.
A flash of mockery glinted in Isaac’s eyes. “Where’s your Supreme Leader? I want to pay favonovel.com a visit.”
“Isaac, don’t cross the line. The Astraeus has been very lenient with your behavior. The Supreme Leader isn’t someone you can see at your whim and fancy,” Glenn answered, his tone freezing over.
“In that case, I can only go ask Evie herself.” Isaac felt something was off.
Glenn immediately laughed coldly and said, “You’re going to look for Evie? Isaac, let me remind you that even if you’re the lord of the Temple of Drakon, all of your subordinates are abroad. Not to mention, there’s no way you can find her.”
“I’ll try my hardest…” Isaac said and hung up.
Evidently, Glenn was playing games with him.

The night grew darker.
On Mt. Brago in Colorino, there was a secret lodge with a few attics, surrounded by tall trees and jagged cliffs. Most of the locals weren’t even aware that there was a lodge tucked away here.
In the topmost attic, Glenn was dressed in his sleepwear, sitting in an antique chair, and frowning deeply. Next to favonovel.com was an elderly man with a serious face, and behind favonovel.com stood a young man with pale skin who was dressed in a suit.
“First Elder, is it possible that Isaac has found out that we put Evie under house arrest?” the old man asked.
“Jeremiah, don’t be hasty. Don’t worry and just focus on preparing for Jason and Evie’s marriage, the sooner the better.” Glenn raised his head to look at the old man.
The young man standing behind favonovel.com frowned and said, “First Elder, Grandpa, who is this Isaac? Are you saying that there’s a punk that the Astraeus or even our family fears? Even before this, putting aside that the Neal family had an elder, I’m no worse than Xayden. Now that he’s dead, I, Jason Yves, must make Evie my wife…” His expression was resolute.
The old man frowned. He wanted to say something, but Glenn stood and said, “Jeremiah, Westerton is your territory. That bastard may really find this place. In that case, I’ll gather a few elders to put some pressure on Evie.”
He patted the old man on the back. “Since the Supreme Leader isn’t here, let’s make good use of this time. Once the marriage goes through, the Yves will also be family to the Supreme Leader. That connection, combined with your strength, means nothing will stop you from becoming an elder, Jeremiah.”
Quickly after, Glenn changed into a red robe. He went to the second attic on the right with two other elders.
Two women in long dresses stood solemnly outside the door of the old-fashioned room.
Glenn gave them a nod, and one of the women turned around and said, “Princess, the First Elder is here to see you.”
“I’m going to bed. Please ask the First Elder to leave, and we’ll talk tomorrow,” came Evie’s cold voice.
Even the maids here knew that she, the princess of the Astraeus, had been under house arrest here for several days.
“Evie, two other elders and I came to see you. Jeremiah dropped by earlier and said that we needed to pick up the pace with finalizing your marriage to Jason. You’ve got to start preparing,” Glenn said through the door, chuckling.
Inside the room, there was the sound of a cup breaking, followed by Evie’s indignant roar, “How dare you? Why should the Supreme Leader’s eldest daughter’s marriage be handled by you, the First Elder? You deceived me into coming here by claiming that my father wanted to see me, just so that you could keep me under house arrest. And now you want to force me to marry Jason?”
