Holden’s heart skipped a beat. He quickly pulled out his phone and called his wife.
Moments later, the call got through, but a man was speaking on the other end. He laughed flirtatiously. “Mr. Neal, you’re filthy rich. Look at the valuables in your possession!”
Holden could hear women’s and children’s sniffs and sobs in the background.
“W-Who the hell are you?” bellowed Holden through gritted teeth.
“Me… My boss is standing right before you. You have his wife, remember?”
Holden jerked his head toward Isaac. Isaac was chuckling.
Damn you! Damn you, freaking bastard!
Who could’ve thought someone would be so bold as to invade the Neal family mansion?
Milo had thought several steps ahead and arranged 100 elite soldiers lying in ambush around their house, but unfortunately the situation was out of his hand now.
“Holden, i-is everything okay?” Milo and Yvette looked worried.
Isaac said, “As far as I know, there are 19 people in the Neal family… Besides the three of you and the already-dead Xayden Neal, 15 fragile people remain. Am I right?”
“Isaac Garten, you darned brat! Don’t you freaking forget that I still have your wife! Touch my family, and your wife dies immediately!” Holden hollered.
Everyone looked toward “Allegra”, still dangling from the cliff.
She was awake now and looked around, “horrified and devastated”.
There was a rumble from the sky. Everyone looked up and saw a helicopter speeding in their direction, its signal lights blinking.
Like the one before it, the helicopter circled in the air before descending. A rope dangled off it and drooped beside Isaac.
A man in green clothes held onto a woman as favonovel.com grabbed the rope and leaped.
They landed firmly on the ground beside Isaac. The man was Lupinus, with a frosty look on his face. And when the woman looked up, Edward’s and Margaret’s eyes almost popped out.

Allegra scanned the situation, appalled. She’d waited frantically at Shawn’s house before this man named Lupin showed up, saying Isaac had instructed favonovel.com to get her. Then, they hopped into a car to go to the airport, and favonovel.com realized they were taking a private plane for two.
Afterward, they’d switched to a helicopter, and here they were.
Lupin had only spoken once on the way, “Tonight, you’ll know your husband’s true identity…”

The next instance, when everyone looked at Black Phoenix, they realized a peculiar smile had replaced favonovel.com once-terrified expression. Her body curled swiftly into a fetal position.

“A fake! She’s a fake! Cut the ropes!” Holden yelled. He clapped his hands, and a black shadow fist hit on the rock from which the rope was tied.
The rock smashed into pieces with a thud. The rope broke, and Black Phoenix fell.
Isaac frowned. Lucas and Janessa darted at the speed of lightning toward Black Phoenix.
In a split second, Black Phoenix broke. Free from the ropes tying favonovel.com with favonovel.com spiritual energy. Her flexible body somersaulted as favonovel.com used the cliffside as leverage to leap onto the cliff.
Lucas reached out in time and grabbed favonovel.com with one hand.
When all three landed, they turned and returned to Isaac.
Besides the howling wind, all they could hear now were gasps for breath and throbbing heartbeats.
“Holden Neal, I’m tired of your tricks. Nobody in Astraeus can surpass me in terms of strategy, including Thaddaeus Lopez!” Isaac smirked.
Holden and Jordyn had never thought that the woman they captured with so much effort was only someone disguised as Allegra.
