After dark, Isaac had just reached home when his phone started ringing loudly in his pocket. He saw that it was Serena’s number and answered the call.
“Isaac! My parents wouldn’t let me go and they said I was being cheated! They said I’d be trafficked overseas to do intensive labor!” Serena started crying into the phone.
Isaac was stunned. He asked, “What did you tell them?”
“I said Nick Charter gave me his card and invited me to his company, and that I’d be signing a contract with him, then my parents locked me in my room! Isaac, you have to come and save me!”
