A while later, two men escorted another man inside.
“Do you see that? This is the hitman that Isaac paid off. I had to investigate for days to capture him.”

The man raised his head, his face full of terror. “I’ll talk, I’ll talk. Don’t kill me, Mr. Gould! Isaac called me and asked me to hit this specific car that morning and to make it look like an accident. He said that if the target died, he’d give me three million dollars and send me overseas.”
“That’s a lie! Do you think I’d believe you just from listening to one side of the story?” Allegra suddenly screamed, interrupting the man’s speech. Her bloodshot gaze swept over the others.
