“Ms. Booth, we’ve encountered a problem. We’re about to build the foundation, but we can’t purchase materials like concrete and reinforcement steel anywhere,” a middle-aged man with wooden-framed glasses urgently said.
Allegra was stunned. She asked, “No materials? Which companies did you approach? Wasn’t there a bid not long ago?”
Another man replied furiously, “All of them dishonored the agreement. They refused to supply us with the building materials. Besides, they demanded a price three times higher than the market price if we insist on purchasing the materials from them.”
Etnily sighed and said, “Ms. Booth, I followed your instructions and looked into the previous incident, Gould Properties might have something to do with it. They had been taking over building suppliers since last month and are currently in control of all the building materials in Southland.”
Allegra stood up in shock. “Doesn’t that mean we must collaborate with Gould Properties to ensure the progress of Pegasus No. 1?”
“That’s the idea. We can always purchase the materials from other regions. However, the cost and quality of the materials will be beyond our control.” Emily frowned.

They waited from 9 am until 11 am. They were about to lose their patience when they finally heard footsteps.
Andrew walked into the meeting room with a grin on his face. “Oh, dear, my apologies for making you wait. We’re simply too busy with our daily operations.”

If Garth Properties is looking to collaborate with us, we can supply all the materials you need with the condition that we shall take 70 percent of the profit after the completion of the project!”

Emily’s eyes widened. She roared, “Andrew Booth, that’s daylight robbery! Aren’t you guys being too greedy?”
“Hm? Greedy? Well then, feel free to purchase the materials from other regions with thrice the stripping cost or purchase them from our subsidiaries at a higher price,” Andrew haughtily replied as though favonovel.com had Garth Properties at a dead end.
