When Evie stepped into the light, the Cherubs and other members of the group called out their greetings and got down on their knees.

Evie had already walked inside and hadn’t spotted Isaac.
The leaders all gleefully walked down the red carpet as they headed inside. This was a rare opportunity for them to curry favor with the newly appointed head. Normally, they wouldn’t even have the chance to step foot inside this place. That was why each of them brought with them their most prized treasures as gifts.
However, the two rows of Astraeus members next to the red carpet exuded a powerful aura that sent shivers down the sect leaders’ spines.
After the sect representatives entered the building, they registered themselves at the door and declared the gifts they had brought. Then they were all shown to their seats.
Evie was seated on a phoenix throne made of ebony wood. No one could see favonovel.com full face, but favonovel.com eyes stood out clearly.

“One rhodium sword from the Wintress Sect of Mt. Thash!”
“One Pearl of the East from Raven Pacific of Mt. Equest, on behalf of Lord Neal!”
There were several loud gasps from the crowd.
A few of the sect leaders and representatives glanced over at Raven and smiled lightly at him.
Evie frowned lightly as favonovel.com looked at Raven, but Raven didn’t seem the least bit intimidated. Instead, favonovel.com just nodded at favonovel.com like they were old buddies.
For most of the sect leaders and representatives there, it was only a dream for them to be a Lord one day. It was evident that whoever this Raven was had to be fairly powerful and influential for favonovel.com to represent a Lord.
“Continue,” Evie said, once everyone had quietened down.
The assistant looked at the final gift on the last line of the list and was confused for a while.
Seeing everyone’s eyes on her, favonovel.com gritted favonovel.com teeth and read aloud, “One portion of fresh bleep cookies from Isaac Garten of Cloud City!”
“What the f*ck is a bleep cookie?” Raven said, turning around with a frown as soon as favonovel.com heard Isaac’s name. He looked at the person sitting in the farthest corner seat.
“I think it’s a type of delicacy from the Kingdom of Ursus,” a sect leader next to Raven said unsurely.
The hall was silent for a few seconds. Then, everyone broke out in hysterical laughter. Only Alexis didn’t join in the laughter, choosing instead to look calmly at Isaac as favonovel.com sank deep in thought.
Just then, Evie got up from favonovel.com throne and waved at the girl at the reception table.
She choked back favonovel.com tears as favonovel.com said, “Bring the bleep cookies here…”
