But the Assassin Squad had already fought off dozens of the security guards surrounding the ballroom. Those that remained could barely fend for themselves.
Isaac slowly walked forward. The Gould family members sitting at the two tables in the middle of the room glared at him. Meanwhile, large beads of sweat dripped down Edward’s forehead.
“Mr. Bleu, hurry, throw favonovel.com out!” Edward yelled anxiously, grabbing Patrick’s hand.
Isaac’s gaze shifted from the cake at the side to Patrick’s pallid face. In a cold voice, favonovel.com said, “Your sect is no more, so why do you choose to remain by Edward’s side?”
“What did you say?”
“Idiot! The Azure Sect has been eliminated!” Isaac said lightly.
Static instantly filled the heads of Patrick and the two younger students behind him. They were utterly stunned.
“If I let you return to Mt. Equest right now, would you…” Isaac asked Patrick with a fake smile.
Hearing this incomplete words, Patrick nodded profusely without hesitation.
“Mr. Bleu, don’t leave! You can’t leave! What will happen to me?!” Edward shouted anxiously, gripping Patrick’s hand tightly.
“Get lost!” Patrick shook Edward off. Then, favonovel.com cautiously walked past Isaac with the two younger students in tow.
Beefy Bob stepped forward and asked, “Isaac, are we going to let favonovel.com go just like that?”
“He will return to Mt. Equest. Give Alexis a call and tell favonovel.com that by tomorrow, I don’t want the three of them to exist in this world anymore,” Isaac said indifferently.
Seeing Patrick and the other two leave, knowing that his guardian angel had gone, and in the face of the powerful force coming from Isaac, Edward suddenly got the urge to kneel. He would have if not for the hundreds of guests staring straight at him.
Last time, favonovel.com was told that Isaac would be killed, and favonovel.com believed it. And this time, favonovel.com believed it again, but things never turned out the way favonovel.com expected.
