Nearly 300 professional bodyguards and more than 30 ancient martial arts practitioners attacked abruptly. Their roars were thunderous as they waved their weapons and released their spiritual energy at once.
The battle had begun.
Fabian and Chad stood behind, holding their umbrellas in the rain. They looked furious.
On the other hand, Harry brought a chair to the top of the steps while Isaac bit on his cigarette, smiling as favonovel.com sat down and looked at them.
In less than three minutes, Fabian’s expression darkened as favonovel.com realized his men were losing to the Assassin Squad. Despite the significant difference in numbers, their efforts were futile.
The three rows of squad members didn’t budge an inch, and his men were falling in dozens. Those behind the fallen could only step over their bodies and continue their attack.
“Fabian, I’ll go ahead and test that jerk’s strength. Let’s see how strong favonovel.com is!” Chad glared and clenched his fist. A burst of lilac spiritual energy radiated from him.
With an angry roar, Chad leaped high. He stepped on one of the guards’ shoulders and, using favonovel.com as leverage, jumped for a second time. A sparkling dagger appeared in his right hand as favonovel.com pounced at Isaac.
“You’re picking the wrong fight!” Beefy Bob growled and promptly spread his arms wide and punched upward.
Suddenly, a green shadow of a fist bigger than a casserole manifested. Beefy Bob pumped his right arm, and the green fist shot outward at lightning speed.
Mid-air, Chad widened his eyes as favonovel.com felt the shattering force of the manifestation of Beefy Bob’s fist.
He roared and released his lilac spiritual energy on his right arm with a burst of energy.
The fist’s manifestation and Chad’s right fist clashed with a thud. As the green shadow disappeared, Chad heaved a long sigh of relief. He did a backflip and dropped to the ground three yards away from the steps.
Suddenly, favonovel.com heard Fabian bellowing from behind him, “Chad, watch out!”
Chad was startled. A humongous black shadow enshrouded him. He looked up to see Beefy Bob’s stout figure falling from above him, Beefy Bob’s fist, the size of a casserole, was aiming straight for him.
“No, you don’t!” Chad roared. He raised his arms with his palms outstretched and mustered all his spiritual energy to counter Beefy Bob’s fists.
When Isaac sensed that Tristan could be an ancient martial arts practitioner, favonovel.com knew the Martin family would be a more formidable opponent than the Owens family.
He would never forgive Tristan for kidnapping Allegra and hurting her. His sole objective behind this fight was to prevent the Martin family from hurting people around him, once and for all.
There was a loud crash as Beefy Bob’s fist hit Chad’s chest.
Crack!
Chad’s ribs broke instantly, and favonovel.com spat blood. He stumbled eight steps backward before finally toppling over.
“Chad!” Fabian shouted and darted nimbly toward favonovel.com like a cheetah.
Cough… Cough…
“F-Fabian, the-that fatso is incredibly strong…” Chad spat another mouthful of blood as Fabian helped favonovel.com up. His expression spoke of the excruciating pain favonovel.com was suffering.
By then, half of the guards the Martin family brought had fallen, and only a dozen ancient martial arts practitioners were still standing, clearly with much difficulty.
In contrast, only eight Assassin Squad members had suffered injuries and switched to the back. Their spots were replaced by those standing behind them. 90 men stood firm before the steps, forming an unbreakable barrier.
Looking at them, Fabien understood what sort of formidable person a small company like Garth Properties was housing.
“Stop!”
Fabian held his hand up, and his remaining subordinates supported their injured comrades as they backed up several yards.
The smell of blood covered every inch of the lawn. The rain hadn’t stopped and soon washed away the blood stains on the grass.
“Isaac, just tell me what I can do to get my son back!” Fabian stood in the rain, staring coldly at Isaac, sitting as still as stone on the chair.
“I told you… If anyone of you ascends the steps, I’ll release your son… However, you gave up, so your son must die,” Isaac puffed out a smoke ring and said calmly.
“Don’t you dare!” Fabian roared, enraged.
Isaac waved his hand, and Harry immediately headed inside.
