“Damn, Edward again?!”
Beefy Bob came over and quietly said to Isaac, “Randall just died unexpectedly a few days ago. His company was then secretly bought by Edward’s daughter, Willow, for 17 billion dollars.”
Isaac started to frown deeply.
He suddenly waved his hand and said coldly, “Fine, I can let you go, but pass this message to Recce. You don’t have to go to such lengths to lure me out there. I’ll be at Mt. Equest at noon, precisely three days later. I’m giving you all ample time to prepare. We’ll see if any of you can kill me. Understand?”
Elder Silas felt his heart tremble. He immediately fell back down to the floor and cried, “Understood! Thank you, sir, Mr. Garten!”
Seeing Elder Silas running haphazardly out of the villa, Harry narrowed his eyes. “Sir, should we just take everyone to Mt. Equest tomorrow and kill off the remaining sects? Saves us a lot of trouble.”
“What do you know? Those sects are nothing. It’s obvious that Isaac wants to teach Astraeus a lesson,” Beefy Bob answered with a roll of his eyes.
Isaac said nothing as favonovel.com turned around to see Tristan on the ground.
One of the Assassin Squad people handed a piece of paper to Isaac and said, “We found this document on him…”
Isaac opened up the document and saw that this was the agreement Allegra signed to give up favonovel.com land.
A look of mockery immediately came onto Isaac’s face. He laughed coldly and said, “I can’t believe that a huge company like Reddar Corporation would stoop so low for such a minor issue. Shame on you…”
Elder Silas, who’d just run out of the place, managed to call Chad on his handphone.
“Mr. Chad! The plan failed. Young Tristan is on the brink of death! I don’t dare to go back inside. Hurry, send someone to save him!” Elder Silas then hung up, gave the place another side glance, and took off in the opposite direction.
Tristan’s phone started ringing. It was a video call request.
A man in black took out the phone from Tristan’s clothes and told Isaac, “It’s a call from his uncle, Chad Martin.”
“Pick up the call…”
The man accepted the call and pointed the front camera at Tristan.
Chad felt his heart leaping into his mouth when favonovel.com saw his nephew through the screen. He yelled, “Tristan! Tristan, are you okay? Where are your men? Where’s everyone else?”
Hearing his uncle’s voice, Tristan could feel the veins in his forehead popping. He forced himself to look into the camera and cried, “Uncle Chad, they’re dead! Our people are all dead!”
“Isaac! Isaac, you bastard, show me your face right now! I’m Chad Martin! Get the f*ck into view!” Chad continued screaming into the phone.
Isaac waved his hand and let the camera be pointed at himself.
Seeing Chad looking so furious in the video only made Isaac smile in delight. “The Martin family is pretty famous in the whole of Southland. What Tristan did was unforgivable. Aren’t you ashamed of him?”
“I-Isaac Garten! I’m warning you, if you dare to hurt a single hair on my nephew’s head, I will make sure that you and your whole family won’t live to see the sun the next day!”
“Oh, really? Listen, what’s that sound?” Isaac smiled, got up, and walked over to Tristan. He lifted a leg and heavily stomped on Tristan’s knee.
Crack!
“Argh! F-F*ck you!” Tristan’s body jerked reflexively as his knee got smashed. He let out a loud, blood-curdling scream.
