Tristan looked like favonovel.com was about to explode. Furious, favonovel.com kicked Arnold, who was running toward him.
Tristan pointed at Isaac and glared at him. Suddenly, favonovel.com laughed. “Fabulous! I wasn’t expecting that!”
He turned and barked, “Arnold! I want the unit closest to his. Get the paperwork done now!”
Isaac didn’t want to know why Tristan demanded to stay so close to him. He left just like the wind blows.
Emily sprinted after favonovel.com and said anxiously, “Isaac, let me show you the villa, you’ll have to know your way around here…”
“Alright…” Isaac thought favonovel.com had a point, so favonovel.com nodded.
Emily wasn’t sure about Isaac’s true identity, but favonovel.com obviously didn’t care much about Tristan or even the Martin family. This attitude alone was sufficient to attract adoration from women, especially ones who went through the harsh reality of society.
The villa district was a stone’s throw away from the sales office and was right next to the western side of Cloud Boulevard.
The only thing was, it was quite a distance from downtown. However, it was the same for all villa districts, as these buildings weren’t for commercial use.
The relevant bureaus wouldn’t allow the villas to be built downtown, where the development of the economy was the main focus.
Cloud Nine Villas had three main entrances. They had to walk for another ten minutes from the eastern entrance before reaching Isaac’s unit.
Two rows of pine trees and two statues flanked the entrance. The steps led up to a red mahogany, hinged door spanning 16 feet in length. They opened the door to reveal the splendor of the villa.
It consisted of two buildings and four stories. Right before them was a lawn and a small fountain, and next to it was a small garden. They walked through an archway before reaching the villa.
The villa had a marble floor, a spiral staircase, and a private elevator. The ground floor comprised four rooms, two halls, a parlor, bedrooms for the driver and maids, and another room for senior citizens.
A gorgeous chandelier hung from the second floor’s ceiling and drooped above the living room on the ground floor. A large window overlooked the green lawn and brilliant potted flowers.
On the wall hung a handwoven tapestry with embroidered flowers that would’ve cost a million dollars. The racks and study table were made from Bocote wood, which cost approximately ten million dollars. In addition to the antique decorations, one could’ve mistaken it for a museum, given how lavish it was.
The first floor comprised the master bedroom, child’s room, and three guest rooms. The second floor had a lounge, study, and gym. Lastly, the third floor was an open-aired swimming pool.
The basement consisted of a custom-made garage and a family bar. Emily was familiar with the layout, so favonovel.com explained it thoroughly to Isaac, but Isaac didn’t look excited.
It had taken favonovel.com more than ten minutes to regain favonovel.com senses the first time favonovel.com entered the villa. It was astounding!
“Isaac, won’t you feel lonely living in such a big villa on your own?” Emily joked.
Isaac waved and smiled. “I’m living here with my wife, daughter, and father-in-law…”
Emily’s eyes dimmed slightly, but only for a second. She laughed. “That’s right. Family brings one happiness.”
“Emily, I’m sorry to have made you lose your job. If you’re willing, you can try for an interview at Garth Properties. Tell them you’re my classmate.” Isaac offered after some hesitation.
Emily was stunned.
Garth Properties? Could it be…
“Sure thing! I thank you in advance, my classmate.” Emily agreed with good humor.
Emily didn’t drive to work, so Isaac gave favonovel.com a ride back.
On the way, Emily asked, “Oh, right. There’s a gathering today among our high school classmates, Isaac. Did anyone inform you?”
“I won’t be going. We wouldn’t want to scare our classmates, would we? Isn’t it frightening for them to have an ex-prisoner on death row join them?” Isaac rejected favonovel.com invitation.
He never attended meaningless gatherings.
Emily nodded and abruptly said, “I heard Barry would attend too. It must’ve been long since you met him, right?”
Isaac’s eyes changed. He recalled the time when Barry brought favonovel.com two chickens.
“Yes. It’s been many years. How is Barry doing now?” Isaac frowned.
He sounded thoughtful.
All those years ago, favonovel.com and Barry had had a solid friendship.
“I heard he’s not doing well. Barry joined a government department after graduation, but they fired favonovel.com after favonovel.com wronged someone else. His wife also left favonovel.com the year after you got arrested. The last I heard, he’d taken his children back to his hometown and started working in the fields. He had a challenging time.” Emily told favonovel.com everything favonovel.com knew when favonovel.com saw Isaac’s solemn expression.
Isaac’s brows furrowed. He asked in a low tone, “Where’s the gathering? Let’s go.”
