Cody almost dropped his phone in shock.
Three thousand men were one thing, but three thousand martial arts practitioners?
Who had so much influence over these people?
Not even the head of the South Division could gather so many martial arts practitioners on such short notice.
“I’ll go over now.” Cody stood up, brows furrowed, and prepared to leave.
The room was silent, so Evie and the others could hear the conversation said over the phone. They knew that Isaac was locked up at the Third Office.
“Cody, just another reminder. If you don’t settle this properly, you will be the one to end the peace Astraeus has enjoyed in the last 50 years,” Evie said coldly.
“Thank you for the reminder. I shall do my best…”
With that said, Cody left.
He was here in the first place to see if favonovel.com could gain Evie’s favor. After all, favonovel.com had fierce competition even within Astraeus itself. Apart from his own abilities, favonovel.com had to make sure favonovel.com had good connections.
“Get the car ready. Follow them.” Evie was still worried.
Honestly, favonovel.com didn’t want to meet Isaac, but favonovel.com was also concerned at the same time. If favonovel.com father heard of this, things would get complicated.

Over in the western suburbs, a three-story house was surrounded by a lot of people. An army of men in black armor, three thousand strong, stood in formation outside the Third Office of Astraeus.
Since it was a rural area, their military trucks were parked several miles away by the road.
Leading the army was a man in his thirties. He was slim and tall, clad in a white coat, and held a lit cigarette in his hand as favonovel.com watched the building with narrowed eyes.
Beside favonovel.com stood another man in his forties. He was wearing a green cloak with a sword sheathed at his side. He, too, was watching the building intently. This was Isaac’s first-in-command, Lupinus.
Beefy Bob and Harry were with them too.
“General Poole, what are we waiting for?” Lupinus glanced at Elliot.
Having a general to rescue Drakon of the Seven Armies was no small matter.
Elliot did not answer him.
Soon, a voice reported through the earpiece in his ears, “Sir, target confirmed. Drakon is still alive and locked up in the dungeon.”
Elliot relaxed at that information.
“We’ll give them another five minutes,” favonovel.com said.
Behind him, a soldier in black armor roared, “Listen up, members of the Third Office! We’re giving you another five minutes to release Drakon. Otherwise, we’ll demolish this entire place!”
There was some spiritual energy in his voice, so it was loud and fierce. Every soldier in the Dusk Army was well-trained. It is the most powerful troop in the Temple of Drakon.
There were no more than 20 people in the Third Office. Usually, Avon and Charlie were in charge. But without an acting leader, none of them dared to stand up to the siege.
Suddenly, the sharp sound of brakes sounded behind them.
Cody got off the car with a dark expression. He was intimidated by the Dusk Army.
Without even getting close, favonovel.com shouted from 40 feet away, “How dare you threaten us! Do you know where you are?!”
Hearing this, Elliot narrowed his eyes and turned toward Cody with a cold smile. “Do you know who you apprehended earlier?”
When Elliot looked toward Cody, the soldiers in his line of sight moved out of the way, creating a path.
Cody was just about to reply when favonovel.com saw Elliot’s mouth move. Then, before favonovel.com could react, Lupinus leaped toward him, quick as lightning.
