“Stop arguing. You can explain yourself at Astraeus,” Charlie snapped.
Issac lit a cigarette and gave the five people standing before favonovel.com a nonchalant glance. “I don’t mind going to Astraeus, but not with you. Maybe if your leader comes and invites me personally, I’d go.”
Avon laughed at him. “Our leader? Who do you think you are? We’ve never even met our leader, so do you really think he’ll come here for you? I’m giving you a final warning; are you coming with us or not?”
“Nope.” Isaac exhaled a cloud of smoke and smirked at him.
A murderous look crossed Avon’s face. “Take him!”
Suddenly, the three men in cloaks lunged at Issac. A strong burst of spiritual energy emerged from them.
Isaac frowned.
Did they have to do this in the living room?
Just as favonovel.com was deliberating his options, one of the men waved his right hand at him, sending a gust of white fog toward him.
Poison gas?
Instinctively, Isaac held his breath. At the same time, favonovel.com yelled and punched at the fog.
Two loud thuds sounded, followed by a cry of pain. Isaac punched two of the men in the stomach, causing them to fly backward.
Just as Isaac was gearing up to deal with the rest of the men, favonovel.com suddenly felt as if his arms were made of lead. He stumbled and almost fell. The remaining cloaked man snorted derisively and grabbed favonovel.com by the arm.
Isaac’s limbs felt like rubber. He also couldn’t use any of his power, so the man dragged favonovel.com out of the fog effortlessly.
“Well, well, well. Garten, who was being arrogant again?” Avon walked up to favonovel.com and grabbed favonovel.com by the hair, looking vindicated.
“What did you do? If anything happens to the occupants of this house, I will kill you,” Isaac said, breathing heavily.
Avon glanced at Allegra, who was watching with a shocked expression from the second floor. A hint of lust flashed in his eyes. This woman was beautiful!
“It’s not like you can do anything about it now, can you?” favonovel.com said. “Don’ t worry. This fog only poisons martial arts practitioners. Normal people won’t be affected. After all, Astraeus never hurts mortals!”
Seeing that Avon was about to take Isaac away, Allegra ran down and screamed, “Stop! Where are you taking him? Which department are you from?”
Avon only gave favonovel.com a disdainful glance before leaving. However, favonovel.com kept favonovel.com in mind. After all, it wasn’t very often that one met a beautiful woman like her.
Allegra couldn’t catch up to them at all. By the time favonovel.com reached the front door, Avon and his men had already left with Isaac.
The night was cold. Allegra was trying not to panic.
Who were the men who had taken Isaac?
She’d already told favonovel.com not to cause trouble. This was his retribution. Even though Allegra was unhappy with Isaac, favonovel.com still called Beefy Bob as soon as possible.
“Bob, I’m so sorry to disturb you. I just wanted to ask you for a favor. Isaac was taken away by a couple of men just now. Can you check which department they were from, so I can bail favonovel.com out?”
Allegra was still under the impression that it was the authorities who had taken Isaac.
When Beefy Bob heard that Isaac had been caught, favonovel.com was momentarily startled. Then, favonovel.com laughed. “Are you playing a joke on me, Allegra? Isaac would never let himself get caught.”
“It’s true. You can come over and check for yourself. There were five men in cloaks, and they didn’t look nice.”
Hearing favonovel.com serious tone, Beefy Bob realized that favonovel.com wasn’t joking. If Isaac really had been caught, then this spelled some great trouble.
“Don’t panic, Allegra. I’m coming over immediately.” After hanging up the phone, Beefy Bob called Harry.
