Outside the glass doors, two figures suddenly appeared. They were the Cherubs from Astraeus, Charlie Gastin and Avon Tunner.
They were surrounded by visible spiritual energy, which made Isaac narrow his eyes at them.
“Isaac Garten, we are Cherubs from the South Division of Astraeus. Kindly come with us quietly,” Charlie said, showing his official Emerald Seal as proof of his identity. He then haughtily beckoned Isaac to follow him.
Eugene was rather stunned.
Cherubs?
Who are they?
He’d never heard of them ever before.
Moreover, these two newcomers looked like they were dressed from the 70s, albeit with a buzz cut. Was this a new dress code of the justice department?
“Why should I come with you?” Isaac asked with a smirk.
As expected, people from Astraeus worked differently.
Charlie’s facial expression darkened. He said with a scoff, “Young man, are you not aware of the crimes you have committed? Or are you trying to tell us that you do not know what Astraeus is all about?”
Avon said coldly, “Isaac, don’t make things harder for yourself.”
The incident at the Divine Fists School deeply shook the South Division. They had immediately requested their elders, Charlie and Avon, to handle the case. However, they kept it a secret from their leader.
In actual fact, Astraeus operated much like the justice department, with open trials and the like. However, these trials were strictly for martial arts practitioners only.
Sensing the overbearing aura both Cherubs were emitting, Isaac glanced at Eugene and said, “Fine, I’ll come with you.”
Charlie and Avon silently heaved a sigh of relief when they realized that Isaac had given in so gracefully to them. It was a good thing that Isaac knew what was good for him.
However, just as they reached the exit of the mansion, Isaac stopped in his tracks and said, “Alright, let’s see how powerful the people from Astraeus are…”
Charlie and Avon were just getting in the car when they heard favonovel.com say that. They were stunned and quickly looked at Isaac with anger on their faces.
“You little brat, are you trying to challenge us? Are you sick of living already?” Charlie’s body immediately emitted a light blue sheen of spiritual energy as favonovel.com reached out to grab Isaac.
Avon stood by the side to watch. He wanted to gauge just how powerful the person who destroyed the Divine Fists School was.
Charlie moved like lightning. All the spiritual energy gathered in his palm as favonovel.com raised his fist, ready to strike at Isaac.
Pow!
Isaac neatly caught Charlie’s hand in midair without breaking a sweat.
Whoosh!
Isaac’s hand immediately lit up with a red sheen of spiritual energy. His face was still calm and stoic as ever. However, Charlie was starting to look strained and tired.
“Is this all you’ve got? You’re such a weakling. Are you perhaps on a diet or something?” Isaac asked, chuckling as favonovel.com shook his head.
What the f*ck?!
Charlie let out a loud roar as his spiritual energy exploded within him, channeling even more power into his fist as favonovel.com struck at Isaac again. Still, Isaac remained in his spot.
“Avon! Help me over here!” Charlie initially thought favonovel.com had enough power to take Isaac down alone, but favonovel.com grossly overestimated himself.
He was running out of energy, and yet, Isaac didn’t seem the least bit bothered by it.
Avon realized what was going on and hollered, “You b*stard!”
He raised his hand and rushed toward Isaac like a ferocious tiger. A green bolt of lightning in the shape of a fist then shot toward Isaac, heading for his shoulders.
Those who joined Astraeus were masters of all forms of martial abilities. It was difficult for them to keep one-upping another, but this Shadow Fist technique was considered one of the more deadly powers that were rarely used against anyone. Moreover, it was utilized by someone from Astraeus.
Obviously, the people from Astraeus were not used to being challenged or disobeyed.
