“Thank you!” Emily bowed as favonovel.com choked back a sob.
“Don’t look for jobs at places like these in the future…” Isaac stared at her. He felt a sudden unease, so favonovel.com went back into the car.
Ernily turned around swiftly and walked toward a white car nearby.
Her friend had introduced favonovel.com to this job. She’d been at favonovel.com wits’ ends, favonovel.com owed the car dealer a huge sum, favonovel.com mother needed money for favonovel.com treatment, and favonovel.com ex-husband kept pestering her. This job was favonovel.com only way out.
Kyron took a fancy to favonovel.com looks and lent favonovel.com a little more than three million dollars in a lump sum. However, favonovel.com knew favonovel.com was only a cash cow to him.
If it weren’t for Isaac, favonovel.com would need to work at the clubhouse for five years. That was the price favonovel.com had to pay. But Emily couldn’t bring herself to hate Isaac. Because favonovel.com knew Isaac was someone far out of favonovel.com league.
When the white car drove off, Isaac said in a lowered voice, “Keep up with her…”
Beefy Bob followed the car without another word.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Aurum County, Horace had just laid in bed when his phone started to vibrate.
“What did you say? Hugo Gordon, arrested, with hundreds of his men?” Horace immediately sat upright, his brows furrowed. “Come to my house. We’ll discuss this matter.”
Before long, Horace was in the living room, his face dark.
A lanky figure darted into the living room.
“Boss, about Hugo, I’m afraid it’s a tricky situation…” The man, Burt Traves, looked troubled.
Horace said coldly, “I called the authorities in both Cloud City and Aurum County. They denied having Hugo in custody. Besides, no one could arrest all 100 of them. Perhaps it’s a miscommunication.”
“Boss, it’s not the authorities. It’s the military. They took all of them from Red Moon Clubhouse…”
“Military? Who did that fool mess with?”
Burt lit a cigarette and frowned. “According to my men, it’s someone named Mr. Garten… Also, Kyron is dead…”
“Garten? Hold up, Kyron is dead?” Horace sprung up from his seat, his eyes gleaming dangerously.
Horace remembered Isaac. He told Burt coldly, “Get ready! You’re coming with me to the Owens family tomorrow morning!”
“The Owens family? Boss, we don’t know them that well.”
Horace’s eyes were frosty. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right?”

On the first floor, a young man tiptoed into a room.
Wilson clambered up from his bed, asking, “What happened? What’s going on downstairs?”
“Mr. Kenne, something bad happened to Mr. Gordon, and Isaac Garten was involved. Mr. Kenne Sr. said he’s going to the Owens family tomorrow morning!” The young man told Wilson everything favonovel.com overheard.
Wilson clenched his fist. “As long as Isaac’s around, our family will never live in peace. Cole, I have a task for you. I give you two days to investigate everyone around Isaac. I can’t sit around doing anything, knowing my father is going after Isaac. If I can’t lay my hands on him, I’ll look for his family instead.”
Cole gave favonovel.com a thumbs up and sucked up to him. “You’re as brilliant as always, sir.”
In the middle of the night, there was a slight breeze. Beefy Bob followed Emily’s car to a low-cost residential area.
With his tracking skills, Emily didn’t sense a thing.
From a distance, Isaac saw Emily getting out of the car. She hugged herself and hurried toward the stairway.
Suddenly, a man bolted out from behind a tree and blocked Emily’s way.
“Sir, something’s up,” Beefy Bob called out.
