Brody’s phone vibrated just as they were speaking. He paused when favonovel.com saw the incoming number, then got up and walked outward.

“Brody, the secretary asked me to pass you a message. Listen carefully…”
Brody braced himself and held his head high. “Yes, sir. I’m listening.”

The phone hung up abruptly. Brody stared at his phone, pondering the quote.
Suddenly, Brody’s face paled, and a cold sweat broke out.
“Dad? The food’s getting cold. Come and have your dinner.” Rory was calling for him.
Nevertheless, Brody wasn’t hungry anymore. He kept thinking about the call and thought of Louis. Louis had always been able to grasp their superior’s thoughts.
After asking around, Brody obtained Louis’ number and dialed it.
The other end answered almost immediately.
Brody wiped off his sweat as favonovel.com said carefully, “Mr. Marsh, this is Brody Mandela speaking. I may need your opinion on something…”
He repeated the quote. Louis scoffed and said, “You’re in deep trouble.”
Brody’s heart jolted. He asked quickly, “Could it be that Garten…”
“Don’t poke your nose into something that doesn’t concern you, Brody. Here’s a clue for you. Correct your mistake, and you might be able to save yourself.”
Brody hung up, exhausted. He dropped onto the sofa.

Brody and Rory hurried to the authorities only to find out Isaac had already left. Then, they immediately went to Riverview.

Eugene was enjoying his tea. He felt better these two days, and his appetite improved immensely.
Isaac was watching the television while Allegra chatted over the phone. She had to find an office for favonovel.com company as soon as possible.
It was then they heard someone calling from outside, “Mr. Garten! Mr. Garten! We’re here to apologize!”
They turned to see Brody and Rory striding into the villa. Brody looked distraught, while Rory was baffled.
“Mr. Mandela?” Allegra sprung up in surprise. Her heart stopped beating for a second.
Isaac said indifferently, “Oh, please. Who am I to receive your apology, Deputy Mayor?”
“Dad! Don’t tell me we came here in a hurry just to apologize to this bastard! Are you drunk…” Rory barely finished speaking when Brody whacked him.
Brody snapped, “Shut up!”
He looked up, grinning at Isaac and Allegra. “Mr. Garten, Miss Booth… My son has no use for the office space at Chromo Office, so we decided to rent it out to you as a token of apology, Miss Booth. Please accept our gift…”
