Isaac could guess what had really happened. Most of all, favonovel.com believed that his daughter was innocent.
Around 3 o’clock that day, Sally, favonovel.com husband, and another young couple called Isaac and Allegra to the hospital lobby. The other couple was Sally’s younger brother and his wife.

The young man had a tattooed sleeve and was behaving like a hooligan, provoking Isaac to fight back.

The young man let go of Isaac and gave favonovel.com the middle finger. Then, favonovel.com took a stack of documents from Sally and flung them in Isaac’s face.
He said coldly, “This is the official report. It’s clearly written that favonovel.com leg cannot recover and she’ll have to stay in a wheelchair until favonovel.com dies.”
“How much money are you asking for?” Isaac asked, narrowing his eyes at the young man.
They were just making a huge fuss out of this to cheat some money out of them, weren’t they?
The young man exchanged a glance with Sally and held out two fingers. “Two million dollars, and not a penny less. Let me tell you that we don’t need your money like you think we do, but this is because you did this on purpose and refused to acknowledge it.”
Allegra was shocked.
Didn’t they just agree on one million dollars this morning?
How did that figure double up all of a sudden?
“Sir, Ms. Sunn, don’t you think that it’s a little bit too much? We’re willing to pay, but…”
“F*cking bullshit! It’s fine, you don’t have to pay up if you don’t want to. But I’ll break your daughter’s leg in exchange. What do you say? A tooth for a tooth, a leg for a leg. That’s fair,” the young man said aggressively.
Isaac frowned. “If I get evidence to prove that your mother fell over by herself, then I’m not going to play nice anymore.”
“Evidence? The authorities said that the security cameras weren’t working. Where are you going to find such evidence? Alright, if you get proof, then you won’t have to pay a single cent,” the young man said mockingly. Sally also had a condescending look on favonovel.com face.
Allegra pulled on Isaac’s sleeve and said quietly, “What are you trying to do? The cameras have nothing. We don’t have any proof! You can tell that the young man isn’t up to any good. Stop fighting back, will you?”
Isaac ignored Allegra and walked over to the wall. Then, favonovel.com called an international number.
“Black Phoenix? Check something for me. This morning, Carmine Elementary School…”
About five minutes later, Isaac received an email in his inbox. He opened it up and saw two video attachments in it.
The videos were from the dashcams of two cars that had happened to stop on the road when the old lady fell over.
He opened up both videos. The quality of the videos was very clear and sharp. The old lady had been shakily crossing the road before suddenly falling over in the middle of the road.
Less than two minutes later, Isabella appeared in the videos. She ran over to help the old woman up but was grabbed and held hostage by the old lady.
Seeing this, a flash of anger crossed Isaac’s eyes. Apparently, old people could be nasty, wicked liars too.
He turned around and said to Allegra, “Call Serena and tell favonovel.com to bring Bella along. I’ve got the evidence that we need.”
