It was past 9 o’clock at night, and Allegra still hadn’t come home.

Isaac hung up and said to Beefy Bob, “Call Apothecary. You can work together to settle it for me.”
“What? Wait, Isaac! I don’t know anything about… ” Beefy Bob hadn’t managed to get his words out before Isaac left in a hurry.
Allegra didn’t explain much about the situation involving Isabella.
When Isaac tried calling again, favonovel.com kept getting a busy dial tone, so favonovel.com could only rush to the school as fast as favonovel.com could.
When favonovel.com got to the school office, favonovel.com saw that Isabella was crying by the side.
Her homeroom teacher had a deep frown on favonovel.com face. There were two other people, a man and a woman, standing in front of her.

“What’s going on, Ms. Keane?” Isaac asked, turning to look at the homeroom teacher.
The bespectacled middle-aged woman immediately addressed him, “What’s going on? Your kid pushed my mother over while favonovel.com was crossing the road! You’re the parent, what do you think you should do?”

“That’s right. My mother’s already over 70 years old. If something happens to her, you’re going to have to take full responsibility!” The man also raised his voice at them.
Isaac frowned. Isabella must’ve been scared silly by these two boisterous people.
He asked in a low voice, “Where is the old lady? If my kid did push favonovel.com over, then we’ll take the responsibility.”
“I’m holding you to your word. My mother is at the hospital now. Let’s go,” the woman responded aggressively.
Ms. Keane walked over to Isaac and said quietly, “Mr. Garton, we were having an outdoor activity for the class today, and Isabella saw the old woman fall when crossing the street so favonovel.com went to help her. We never thought that the old woman would twist things around and accuse little Isabella of pushing favonovel.com instead.”
When favonovel.com heard that, a flash of iciness appeared in Isaac’s eyes. “Any security footage?”
“We asked the authorities for help, but it just so happened that the camera there wasn’t functioning. A lot of the other kids saw the woman fall over by herself. Isabella only went to help favonovel.com up afterward. But there’s no proof of that happening.”
“What are you discussing? Weren’t we going to the hospital? Let’s see what happened to my mother after your kid pushed favonovel.com over!” the woman roared.
Isabella immediately shook favonovel.com head and cried, “Mister, I don’t want to go to the hospital! I didn’t push the old lady over! I don’t want to go!”
“It’s alright, I’m going with you. You don’t have to be afraid. Didn’t your teacher teach you about being brave and facing difficulties?” Isaac said comfortingly as favonovel.com petted favonovel.com head.
Isaac then turned to the man and the woman and said coldly, “If it’s proven that my kid was just being kind and you’re the ones trying to cheat us for money, there will be grave consequences…”
Quickly, Isaac took Isabella, Ms. Keane, the man, and the woman to the orthopedic hospital.
Just as they reached the hospital, Allegra arrived there as well.
As soon as favonovel.com heard that Isabella allegedly pushed over the old woman, favonovel.com smacked Isabella’s butt hard.
Isabella broke out in tears and said, “I won’t do it again! I won’t help anyone up from the road again! Mom, please don’t hit me anymore!”
Isaac tried to stop Allegra because it wasn’t nice to make a scene at the hospital like this.
Allegra was furious. She slapped Isaac’s hand away and said, “I don’t need you to teach me how to deal with my daughter. Get out of the way!”
Seeing that Allegra was about to continue hitting Isabella, favonovel.com immediately grabbed favonovel.com hand and said angrily, “You haven’t even gotten the full story yet, so you can’t continue punishing Bella. At the very least, we have to see that old lady first.”
