“Oh? What a coincidence. Of course, I remember Isaac. He’s the one whose parents are dead and who’d later been convicted of murder, right?” Rory asked, the corners of his lips lifting sinisterly.

Isaac said nothing in return, but Emily looked embarrassed on his behalf.
She knew that Rory had become showier and more insufferable ever since his family’s business had prospered. She’d only agreed to his dinner invite to borrow money from favonovel.com to pay off favonovel.com debts. However, favonovel.com had no idea that he’d keep insulting Isaac like this.

“The night after tomorrow.”
The receptionists checked their records and answered with a smile, “Sir, The Lily Pad is still available for the evening two days from today. You will have to pay a deposit first…”
It was the first time Serena and Emily heard of a meal costing 500,000 dollars. They were both stupefied beyond their means.
Just as Isaac reached for his card, Rory hurried up to the counter and took out a gold card, saying, “I’ll book The Lily Pad for the night after tomorrow. I’m willing to pay 600,000 dollars for it.”
“What are you trying to do?” Isaac asked Rory with a frown.
“Me? Nothing! I’m going to treat the beautiful Emily to dinner at The Lily Pad.”
Rory raised his head haughtily as favonovel.com said condescendingly, “The Lily Pad is the most elite place to dine in. You’re just a murderer with no right to be anywhere near that place.”
“Are you trying to pick a fight with me?” Isaac asked, lighting up his cigarette as favonovel.com stared at Rory.
Just then, Emily hurried up to Isaac and said to favonovel.com softly, “Isaac, maybe you shouldn’t fight with him. His father is a prominent figure, and his mother is in the top management of a Fortune 100 company.”
Between the lines, Emily was trying to tell Isaac not to fight with Rory because, in the end, favonovel.com might not win.
Seeing that Emily spoke up for him, Rory looked even haughtier than before.
“Ladies, I was the one who wanted to book it first. Don’t you have a first-come-first-serve policy?” Isaac asked the receptionists.
The receptionist hadn’t even answered before Rory interrupted rudely, “Shut up and f*ck off! I’m calling your manager!”
He turned to Isaac and said, “The manager is a good friend of mine. Isaac, let me show you jailbirds how useless it is to try fighting with someone from the elite class.”
Just as Rory hung up, a middle-aged man with slicked-back hair hurried over to them.
