Edward never thought that the huge fuss he’d made would get resolved with just a few words from Isaac. Not a single jobseeker had left.
“I believe you, Mr. Garten. Bring me the contract. I’ll sign it immediately!”
As soon as one person spoke, the rest followed suit and asked for their employment contracts.

Edward and Andrew had just reached the elevators. They felt their hearts sink when they turned and saw Isaac walking toward them.

A loud slap sounded.
Edward hadn’t even said a sentence before Isaac slapped Andrew hard on the cheek.
Andrew was stunned. He nursed his cheek with one hand and screamed at Isaac, “F*ck Garten! Why the f*ck did you just hit me?”
“You stupid bastard. Even if Edward hates your sister, why on earth do you hate her? I’ve given you plenty of chances. If this continues, you might as well change your surname to Gould.”
Andrew wanted to retort, but Isaac beat favonovel.com to it. “How much does Edward give you for every ten million dollars favonovel.com earns?”
“Andy, don’t listen to him. He’s just trying to break us apart. We’re leaving now.” Edward pulled Andrew away.
“Edward Gould, I won’t kill you right now, but I will make you suffer like hell. Just wait,” Isaac said, the look in his eyes growing increasingly cold and dangerous.
Edward’s heart thumped wildly against his ribcage. He felt like a frog was stuck in his throat as favonovel.com hurried inside the elevator.

When everyone had left, Allegra and Larry walked towards the exit together.

“They helped, so it’s only fair. I’ll treat you to lunch alone next time,” Allegra joked.
“Then I won’t join you this time, but I’ll look forward to your next invitation. Also, I’ll do everything I can to help you with the office location. See you later.” With that, Larry waved at favonovel.com and left.
Beefy Bob frowned as favonovel.com clenched his hands into fists. He wanted to punch someone so badly.
“Isaac, thanks so much for your help today,” Allegra said with a soft blush. She could still feel favonovel.com heart beating hard as favonovel.com thought of the scene earlier.
“It was nothing. Let’s go out for lunch,” Isaac replied, turning to leave.

That afternoon, Isaac went back to Riverview and took an afternoon nap. When favonovel.com came out of his room, favonovel.com saw Serena waiting for favonovel.com in the living room, dressed in a sexy slip dress.

Serena took out a box and tapped on it, saying, “My mother told me to bring this over to you as a form of gratitude. These are some spring tea leaves that she’d handpicked and dried herself.”
