Isaac lit a cigarette, raising his eyebrows. He puffed out a smoke ring and said, “You must have offended the Owens family.”
“Yes…” Shawn’s voice dropped cold. He mustered the courage to look at Isaac.
“Mr. Garten, I am too ashamed to return home, so I want to work for you…”
