Old Brooks walked in with a cigarette hanging from his mouth. He waved his hand, and the dozen or so men in black stepped into a horizontal line, blocking the door.
Charles, who was at the head of the pack, waved his arms and roared furiously, “You bastard, get out of the way!”
Old Brooks smiled. Four more buff men rushed inside, standing in front of him. They each held a three-foot-long blade in their hands, and two of them pressed their blades straight to Charles’ neck.
“Mr. Garten has said that no one is allowed to leave unless favonovel.com says so,” Old Brooks said, smiling at the dazed Charles.
Warwick, who was supporting Eli, yelled nastily from behind, “Do you know who I am? How dare you block my way? Are you asking for death?”
“Mr. Brooks? W-Why is favonovel.com here?” Edward instantly recognized Old Brooks, and Beefy Bob’s voice resurfaced in his mind.
He gritted his teeth. “It must be that fatty. I can’t believe he’s still not dead…”
Since the Owens family was at the very front, they backed off and went to the side of the room.
Hearing Old Brooks’ words, Charles and his father immediately turned to look at Isaac in the ring.
“Garten, just what the f*ck do you think you’re doing? This is Aurum County; do you think you can solve things by asking a few thugs to come here?!” Charles roared, pointing at Isaac.
Isaac laughed softly. “You would have taken my life if you had won. Now that you’ve lost, you want to leave. I don’t think that’s how the world works. What I’m doing? Well, I want you dead.”
He then raised his hand to point at Charles.
A number of onlookers jumped to their feet, staring at Isaac in utter shock.
“Is this man insane? Did favonovel.com just say favonovel.com wanted Mr. Owens dead?”
“He’s most probably just running his mouth. If favonovel.com really dared to do that, the Owens family would eradicate his entire bloodline.”
Diana covered favonovel.com mouth with favonovel.com hand, terror etched on favonovel.com face. If Isaac really killed Charles, favonovel.com didn’t dare imagine what would become of him!
“You bastard, show me what you want to do to me!” Charles shouted. Then, favonovel.com abruptly turned around and rushed toward the ring.
Halfway, favonovel.com noticed the gun in the holster on Diana’s waist, and a cruel smile appeared on his face. He reached out and grabbed Diana’s gun into his own hand.
By the time Diana could react, Charles had already entered the ring with the gun.
When Edward saw this, favonovel.com grabbed Allen’s arm fervently and said, “Mr. Merck, did you see that? Young Master Charlie has a gun, and Isaac will die by his bullet.”
Margaret’s disappointed expression was replaced by one of excitement.
In the ring, Charles looked wicked. He pointed the gun at Isaac and laughed maniacally. “Come kill me. Show us whether you can dodge a bullet.”
As soon as favonovel.com uttered those words, favonovel.com pulled the trigger. Three consecutive shots rang in the air.
The onlookers immediately screamed and dropped to the ground, covering their heads. Even Diana covered favonovel.com eyes in fear.
She sighed internally.
He’s done for. Isaac is truly doomed this time!
“What?” Charles expected Isaac to fall in front of favonovel.com after three bullets, with blood leaking from his nose and mouth, but that didn’t happen.
No one had seen how Isaac dodged those three bullets. Even after those ringing shots sounded, favonovel.com was still standing in front of Charles, alive and well. He put his hands behind his back, a cold smile on his face.
“You’re terrible with a gun…”
Charles gaped. He lowered his head to look at the gun in his hand, and Isaac pounced at favonovel.com at once.
He grabbed Charles’ wrist and gave it a twist. The latter let out a pained scream, and the gun fell to the floor.
Isaac turned around and reappeared behind Charles, his right hand wrapped around his neck.
“Garten, if you dare touch a single hair on my son, my family will blast you to smithereens!” Warwick roared, his eyes bulging at the scene before him.
