Diana was worried for the first ten minutes after leaving the Owens family’s house, but it had already been half an hour since they left.

The car roared as it picked up speed and lunged straight ahead.
Albert and Jane were following from a distance. They saw the roadblock in front and the jeeps trailing behind Isaac’s car. Their hearts almost stopped beating.
“He’s insane! He’s planning to bust through! Go to hell or wherever you want to, but leave my daughter alone, damn it!” Albert whacked the car horn. But favonovel.com could only watch as the distance between them and the black Land Rover increased.
When Isaac’s car was nearing the roadblock, Beefy Bob saw them hurling a device onto the road.
“Is that a spike strip?” Beefy Bob was startled and jammed on the brakes immediately.
A spike strip would damage the car tires and cause a car traveling at high speed to steer out of control, resulting in an accident.
Beefy Bob and Isaac did not have to worry if the above scenario occurred, even if the car flipped over, they could still escape unharmed. However, Diana was with them.
The car screeched to a halt, leaving two long black marks behind it.
The fleet of camo jeep blocked their way from behind. The doors opened, and armed soldiers leaped off the cars, instantly surrounding Isaac’s car.
“Come down, put your hands on your head, and get down on your knees! Resist, and we shall fire!” a man shouted into a loudspeaker.
Diana’s face paled as favonovel.com saw the soldiers aiming their guns at them.
She turned around in a panic. “Th-The Owens family sent their troops. What shall we do? What can we do?”
“Stay in the car… Beefy Bob, call the military affairs department.” Isaac looked out the window coldly.
At this moment, Albert and Jane saw their chance and got out of the car.
Albert took a deep breath and trotted over to the leading personnel. “I am Albert Taylor from Cloud City, from…”
A man with an upright face and crew cut slapped Albert. He roared, “I don’t care who you are! Stay where you are, or I’ll arrest you too!”
Another car arrived. Warwick, his face still swollen, and his son got out of their vehicle and sneered as they approached.
