The assistant hung up quickly.

Roger turned around and held the woman in a chokehold, a crazed look on his face. “Oh, yeah? What should I do then, babe?”
The woman’s expression quickly switched from a frantic one to a flattering smile.
She reached out and caressed Roger, saying, “Roger, everything in Kane Enterprise belongs to you. The only way for you to take everything into your hands is by becoming the president.”
“Me, becoming the president? I’m only an executive director. Unless my dad is dead, then…” Roger let go of his grip on her, and his eyes widened, a formidable thought forming in his mind.

At night, Eugene had just prepared dinner while Allegra was in the study doing some work.
“Isaac, dinner’s ready,” Eugene called out to Isaac, sitting in the living room.
Allegra entered the dining room moments later. She asked, “Where is Morn? She left the office early today.”
