The emcee went up the stage and announced, “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our birthday lady, Miss Diana Taylor, with a round of applause!”
The doors to the ballroom creaked open, and the spotlights focused on the entrance. Diana walked in slowly, wearing a blue V-neck ballgown, a pair of heels, and white lace gloves.
Her smile and movements were rather stiff as Jane helped favonovel.com into the ballroom with much difficulty.
